I think we should respect Tom Scullys wishes and back off there is nothing to be gained from Speculation and Re action to the Media Tom Deserves this there is nothing to be gained by Bagging him. Some good News is that Gary has spoken to Junior Mac to return to the Football Department next Season this would be great as Junior is very highly respected by all including Tom you never know this may help in keeping Tom, apparently Gary in his role is talking to a number ex Melbourne players to seek their advice and availability he is leaving no stone unturned in the quest to have a very strong and successful football department, my sources are the Mac Donald Family.

I watched the Game Saturday with a well known Player Manager who told me that according to those in the industry and by the enquiries on what players are available 8 players will be gone by the cut off in October we already know tof 3 players that will retire Neitz Holland Yze and likely White. I am very dissappointed with Jeff he appears to me that he is quite contented with just running around behind play picking up stats and when any pressure is applied he mucks up this is just not good enough for the fourth highest paid player the perfect solution would be to drop him save some money and groom someone who wants to blead and put in either Martin or Meeson could be given a chance . I Would like to point out two facts that you are completely wrong firstly you mentioned that Phillips is Highly respected this is wrong ask any member of staff at the MFC or AFL THEY WILL TELL YOU how negative this man is a typical Auditor boring WHO gets his kicks out by finding errors AND FAULTS he is a person he has not been able to suggest any bright ideas as to how we can overcome the debt or sell our Brand beleive me when he spoke at at function recently his main theme was on how we made mistakes no suggestion on how to fix them Seacondly the Casey Fields idea was Chris Connolly he spent considerable time on it in fact the main help he got was from Macmanee this info was from Chris himself also Chopper had considerable input This club needs a Leader at the top Bright and enthusiastic and respected Not people who are Boring and Negative

I am extremely dissappointed that John Phillips sees himself as a better President than Jimmy his record of achievements pales into insignifacance compared to Jimmy doors will open in all areas opportunities will come our way as Jimmy has the contacts and is a great people Leader Phillips when he acted as CEO the best he could offer was to sack some of the dedicated staff and claim that they were the main reason for our plight also he is not a good modivator and the staff of the MFC have no respect for him Having spoken to Jimmy he told me he has a very good plan for our future also he has a very good team of people to lead us out of our plight WHEN he informs the members officially of his blueprint all will be impressed .
