Actually 2nd game back. First game was against Collingwood where he kicked a few, and we won nicely in front of a big crowd. That was an outstanding day, and a real high to descend from the following week.

I was there for a little bit of the match sim. I was impressed by Hunt's defensive intensity; he has the speed and he was using it to pressure opposing forwards. Hope it translates to game day. And while Trenners was still on light duties and not in the match sim, he was joining in the drills before the match and looked to be moving freely. Fingers crossed, and toes.

I believe that he was recruited by Footscray in the early 70's, but that he had been a big fan of Big Bob Johnson who starred for East Freo in the early to mid 60's. This translated into a soft spot for Melbourne Football Club, apparently. Terrific commentator. I'll miss him.
