Without trying to be a pedant. I see two issue not necessarily either depending on the other for evaluation. Was it correct to end Simon's tenure ? Will the incoming be successful ? One only comes about because of the prior, granted but the value as such is not dependent. It's entirely possible a new coach may not bring success but in so that can't suggest the previous would have. Both events need evaluation on their own merit surely.
