I reckon if you had to find one word to describe us currently.... it would be FRUSTRATION Again...whatever has been designed isn't working... and everybody knows it....and everyone knows it's not a 5 min fix ...if a fix at all. We really ought not be at this crossroad, but that a dilemma for examing at another date. ( worthy of scrutiny imho ) Whatever the brains trust thought would work during the off season plainly isn't and dare I say won't in its current guise. Not good

Bodes well... we can't hold a mark, handball to the ground, fumble the unfumblable ( new word ) , kick to God knows where and Max is the oppos midfield best friend currently. It's litterland ... we'll struggle. It would be a big game if we were on form. And here we are.....

Totally agree in so much as our problems are not confined to Goodwin. Some players need a good long look in the mirror. The stewardship of the club is wanting... imho.

I know Macca and I will probably never see eye to eye on Mr Goodwin, but I do like reading other's viewpoints. That and he is like many of us a dyed in the wool Demon tragic. I wish our problems were otherwise.

Exactly how I read that too . Hopefully.... but we've had this situation countless times. I'd really rather wait another week if be the case. The end of year is possibly more important than this game. Just my thinking

I don't hate Goodwin. I really could give a flying proverbial about the bloke. What I think.about him one way or another as a person is irrelevant. I actually think not a sec upon him as a person. What I think , quite frankly , is we're in a total mess. Should I ignore that ? But I'm not going anywhere ... so put me on ignore

Ffs Macca.. Goody didn't just come on board. This is not an overnight debacle.... this shizen fest has been years in the making. People still want tostick heads in sand

I think a lot may be do themselves a disservice if they are only viewing our current woes in terms of the past 3 games.. In a fashion I see it as just this season's tip to a much bigger,longer(time) iceberg. What we're currently witnessing is just the gameday face to a much deeper seated malaise.

This is a team comprised of many seasoned players ( albeit a handful of kids perhaps ) but a lot of games under belts. A Coach who's been there a decade. And we were diabolical. We were shizen. There's no energy, no passion ,no composure , no coherency.... no nothing. We played on our deck, on a reasonably weathered day. We were/are bad. We're trending towards an abyss Our game is best described as comedy it's THAT bad at times. Do I relish this ? [censored] NO !! Do I think this is about to miraculously turn around ? To be frank .... based on what ? There is absolutely no evidence we actually know how to play a competent game style. If we were chefs we'd burn water presently. There are just no excuses for serving up the rubbish we're seeing

Tbh... it's always been my experience ( arguably.. just going on that lol ) that a good , better than good, forward just knows where to be. They've built up their footy Intel over years of playing forward. It's actually very hard to teach the nuances and subtleties. You can teach the theory but it needs a player who can read the game, the flight of the ball and likely outcomes.... all in that 'eternity' of time called ...seconds !! Some can , others never will. I'm not sure about JVR tbh as he's all very bang crash for mine.
