Kudos Goody . You're the man. Am heartened to think Fritta is obviously saving himself for finals... clever boy !! That's genius right there. Not nearly as inventive though as Clarry impersonating a clapped out 180b at a Shine'n'show. No danger of the wheels falling off there....he's totally rusted !! Ol' Harrison waxed and waned between wanting to play decent football, and just being himself. True colours shone through in the end and we all knew it was just good ol' Petty. .( bought that place in Cherry Hills yet ?? ) It was Saturday night and the kids were partying. At least they knew what it was about. Hope to see more.....carry on ;) The officials joined in the festive mood and channeling Oprah decided to hand out frees like cars to all the good folk in Blue and White.... one for you...for you...another..oh heck....you can all have one. Well I don't know about all of you but i'm heading down the road and finding myself one of those Lordy Lordy places and give thanks that the great one has seen fit that we again can revel in that wondrous place called "the eight" .. I know we won't be there long and it will be a long time before revisiting but in true humility I'm thankful for the little things. It's a great day to be a Dee

The reality... and it is just a 'what is' to me, is we could be anything atm. Bit like a punch drunk fighter we're careering about seeming with no one in the bridgehouse. This doesn't go unnoticed by oppositions and they play to our weaknesses. We need to get back to a simpler method. We can start by cutting down the over-handballing. This smacks of indicisive hot-potato. We just don't have enough comensurate skilled artisans presently to carry off a style that's too clever, too cute. We seem rather devoid of confidence , though that might possibly be more me lol, and until the belief that doing X results in Y I really think we need to just keep to the basics. We may still lose but we might start rebuilding the style into a useful game. We need to get the Engine running again before we attempt to change up Gears or put pedal to the metal.

I'll give you an insight as to how i think. Firstly... the glass half full, half empty correlation I all but dismiss as I don't agree to the merit of those relative outlooks. Im actually more inclined to favour my Engineering and suggest that that Glass is not fit for purpose as is obviously the wrong size...and it always seems to be ;) Speaking of not fit for purpose.... we have the MFC . I don't like that it is this way. We're currently playing like a committee designed horse ;) Will be very interested to to how we go about the game today. Personally the bookies have it arsecabout ... imho. But... Go Dees Just try and get going.
