The alternative is blindingly obvious. You wait a little...proceed with a little caution. I shall repeat what I said earlier. You needn't have waited til season's end but maybe let the year start and see where it's going ( currently downhill out the backdoor at an alarming rate ). . Our style...for want of a better word ...of football only worked (sic) whilst opposition allowed it. Once teams twigged...they deny us our game and play theirs. We are so dumb we just keep going our way...but are no longer relevant as better ( probably at a count of 17 now ) teams have worked us out Sadly the FD hasn't worked out that we've been worked out.

The Melbourne brand of footy ... As designed by the FD I see similarity... except....a Camel is actually useful. Imho...a lot of our situation is by decree. We've set out to play a particular style. It invariably ignores/over-rides/ dispenses-with any inherent footy nous of our players and replaced it with a draconian nonsense that is easily picked apart. Some players are indeed woeful, but many are simply incapable of playing a game style which itself is incapable of sustainability. We play rubbish.....by design.

Changes ?? Out Melbourne....in Collingwood...they know how to play the game. We sure as hell don't. I need to shower now...

Changes for next week ? Too vast a job...with far too little to choose from.

We play dumb football...with a few too many dumb footballers, with a few too many who ought not be on the field , because they're not fit or ready or past it.
