I think it's entirely possible that a team(s) could exist ( or be brought in ) purely to protect the back door. I.e.. to thwart the NRL. Many forget the AFL is a business... it has competition. Always reminds me of supermarkets. Sometimes one opens purely to stop the other

For mine...its about delivery....always... Just dont bomb it in... smart teams arrange for the ball to GET to the fwds... dumb teams bomb and createa lotto event.
