I have very little interest in the footy show. Loved it when it started, as a kid and when it was more about the footy personalities on the panel back then. They could have a laugh, take the [censored] and not be pulled into the line by the club. I used to think Sam Newman was the distraction not the attraction. Unfortunately, political correctness has made the panel boring and Sam the saviour. Hutchy is taking over the media landscape with his ownership of Croc media but seems Eddie is still king it amazes me.

Jayden Hunt's poor kicking is the biggest facily on Demonland. 1) ordinary kickers of the footy can't just torp it from 65 on an awkward angle. 2) when he bombs it into the forward line it is almost always at a dangerous angle into a hot spot 3) when you have blistering pace and break lines there is often no-one to kick too in the modern game. His disposal efficiency belies his actual disposal credibility.

Mark Neeld is the obvious. Barry Pendergast a close second as recruitment and development manager as well.

He's a great bloke if you like Fukien idiots.

I know this thread will probably struggle to get a reply but thought it worth noting Eddie today. 1) He is under massive attack for the continuation of his Collingwood presidency. Wakes up expecting to bat that off in every interview. 2) In the morning he was spruiking some republic luncheon or large function where he is the head promoter of a transition to becoming a republic. 3) Mid afternoon he announces he is going to host the footy show again. I don't like the bloke but am seriously in awe. He is some kind of ninja waariror with his organisation.

Are peeps honestly calling it goal of the year? Goal of the decade. The bloke on the mark wasn't even close to the 50m line. Not sure how many people on here played footy but personally speaking I could get the spin of the torp but barely any extra distance because I wasn't kicking through the ball, to get the right spin. Went outside in with my kicking leg. Hunt has got an extra 20 maybe 30 metres from kicking through it and still managed to kick it through the goals, even though it was turning the wrong way.
