  1. 43-41 but we are playing miles better than them I think.
  2. God turnovers coming out of the back 50 are hurting us.
  3. Barry reminds me of Sean Charles
  4. One thing that jimmy does do is try and try again. One thing he doesn't do is hit targets.
  5. Strauss may have lovely disposal on the training track, but put him on a football field and he is genuinely inept.
  6. Terlich looks weird without the beard, great tackle but his kicking for goal clearly marks him as a defender!
  7. Dunn is having a ripper, his marking and ability to hit targets short and long is going to be so important this year.
  8. Bail didn't protect the drop zone at all then.
  9. Nice transition from half back to half forward, but agree with Derm - Bail very indecisive in possession.
  10. Some shocking disposal from both sides so far.
  11. Nate Jones in and under all the way. JKH looks so, so slight, Dusty's don't argue looked set to send him flying!
  12. Queen's birthday is celebrated in relation to the birthday of the monarch at the time of the foundation of the state - cos ol Victoria herself was on the throne for an epic amount of time it crosses multiple states of Australia. Once we finally grow up and become a republic I nominate calling it Demons Day!
  13. Me three. Tigers by 8 goals.
  14. 29 man squad including two subs, right? Our likely forward line is looking distinctly make-do... B: Terlich - Frawley - Dunn HB: Grimes - McDonald - Strauss C: Watts - N Jones - Vince HF: Trengove - Pedersen - Viney F: Fitzpatrick - Howe - Kennedy-Harris Foll: Spencer - Tyson - Cross I/C (from): Salem - Toumpas - Byrnes - McKenzie - Clisby - Blease - Michie - Evans - Barry - Giorgiou - King I'm presuming along with the three key forwards needing some more time on the track the same will be true for Jamar, but who knows.
  15. Love listening to GT as he never seems to tow the party line. I'm sure it's why Vlad hounded him out of football media - too much of a loose cannon and not controllable. He also constantly called city hall on their BS. His coaching style was almost the polar opposite of Roos - attack, attack, attack. Great to watch. In a lot of ways it's a shame he never threw his hat in the ring for another gig once the Saints flicked him - he was clearly great with building belief in youngsters.
  16. Genuine talent but even worse body than his big brother Jack. If Thompson was available he'd be a great get.
  17. really hoping he's going to be a player.
  18. there's a story on afl.com.au saying that a practice match happened last friday, is that right? watts was bog?
  19. AFL Fantasy all the way. It's got an open league too, and the design of the site is far superior.
  20. Looking really forward to seeing what this kid can do. Freo supporter at work who watched a lot of wafl really rates him. He thought he should've played a lot more football last year, and couldn't work out why he wasn't given more of a shot.
  21. Can't blame I'm for waiting to see what happens with the club both on and off field this year. If he stays, we have one of the best defenders in the comp for years to come. If he goes, we should be looking at - given his age and any contract offer he'll receive - band 1 compensation for losing him. I'd rather he stays, of course.
  22. That Tasman dude is fantastic, full of enthusiasm and reasonably perceptive of what needs to change re players' skills and possible niggles.
  23. hopefully he'll be orright, was great last year in a particularly poor side.
  24. Non-rehab forward line: HF: Blease - Dunn - Tyson F: Howe - Pedersen - Byrnes Fingers crossed we get some talls back!
  25. AFL Fantasy all the way people. Launches Friday. http://fantasy.afl.com.au Whole new look and feel.
