Jack actually hasn't said anything, other than that he's more likely to stay now the Nutty Professor has gone. His manager, on the other hand... In my opinion, Jack puts in full effort when he feels like it, not when the team needs him to. He has certainly not developed anything like as he would have liked him to do, but there's seemingly a host of reasons for that - poor coaching, poor culture, etc, etc. Does he have the talent? Absolutely. Does he have the desire to make the most of that talent? Doubtful...

I'm surprised at the surprise. There's a reason the Giants were heavily backed in - we really ain't no good. And boy oh boy it would seem we proved it. Unlike others saying they won't sign up as members next year etc I say hang in there, don't stop believing, yada yada yada. We precious few are all this club has. Roos says players accept it. Jackson didn't disagree, where almost is good enough. We are light years away from where Sydney are at in terms of culture. Development poor, lack of leadership in the locker room. Grimes and Trengove in those positions because that offer that.

Result was awful, but not surprising. Highly emotional roller coaster has taken its toll. The let down came, and it is symbolic of the club - we are a footy club, but not professional.
