would not go near tyrone. he's never been a spare-parts ruckman, he's always been an ordinary forward.

i think a lot will depend on today's game in the vfl. o mac had another barry crocker, and looked crocked into the bargain, while dawes just doesn't do anything like enough. could we see one veteran come in (dunn, garland) to replace an inexperienced back, and an inexperienced forward (weideman, hulett) come in for a veteran forward? i'm still of the opinion that we're a lot more threatening when we have three key forwards rotating around the forward half rather than simply hogan and watts, so i want to maintain that structure if possible. brayshaw must stay in the side but i am surprised by how poor his skills are. he misses targets by hand and foot far, far too regularly for such a highly-rated kid. anb simply doesn't get involved enough at afl level, but he deserves more than one opportunity to go in then out. i imagine kennedy will bang on the door with another dominant vfl performance as he's simply too good for that level.

Tom McDonald (and Oscar) SIGNS.
whatwhat say what replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
fwiw, tom harley was on 3aw pre-match yesterday and caro point-blank asked him whether tom mcdonald hsa been up to sydney to meet with the swans. from the sounds of it, something is going on. nevertheless, harley was dismissive - he quite literally said 'we can't afford him' in reference to t mac. if they can't afford to keep mitchell (only offering him $350k a year when hawks are offering him $600k) it's hard to see how they could bring t mac in. -
what that has to do with prestia i have zero idea. his skills would be a mighty handy addition to our gladbag of turnover merchants, as would his ability to break lines.

Who are the Dees chasing for 2017 and at what cost?

i rate him as a regular. he started the year, copped a knock, came back with a warm-up game in the vfl, and has been a regular in best 22 since. gives run and carry, and provides great defensive coverage. and agree that he's worth more to us than he would bring in terms of trade value. -
pretty sure it's the same circumstance as the g - clubs can't train there either. that's why you have a home 'base' and a home 'ground'.

10-2 free kicks in the last quarter. disgraceful
-
good win for the maggots.
-
we are wasting it.
-
juggled it. more important that he kicks it...and he does!
-
god they get all the luck.
-
we are dominating everywhere but the scoreboard. so frustrating.
-
brayshaw's disposal by foot is just not good enough for such a highly-rated kid.
-
getting so many repeat i50 entries. we really need to put it on the scoreboard.
-
again a shallow throw-in.
-
dominant everywhere but the scoreboard.
-
these maggots, ffs.
-
should've played the advantage then; dawes goaled
-
how can brayshaw not hit a target with that kick under no pressure? that's where he really lets himself down - did the hard work to lead up, get the mark, and then completely wastes the opportunity.
-
wtf was that 50 for? god this umpiring is a disgrace. maggots!!
-
developing.
-
how shallow are the boundary throw-ins?
-
pressure has been top notch.
-
18-8 i50s, and 70% time in forward half for 2.2 is aggravating in the extreme. we need to put scoreboard pressure on when we are that much more attacking.
-
i think we're doing some things well - attack on the ball, and the ball-carrier - and other things poorly - disposal, kicking to the 'right' spots, being the favourites of the maggots, etc.
