Melbourne v Peptides? Tigers v Pies? Peptides v Carltank?
-
won't be traded because he'll walk as a free agent. i'm just not sure whether he's that desirable for any club,
-
dogs are seriously good.
-
what about our second rounder for hibberd and their third?
-
port-footscray is super entertaining football.
-
issue is that essendon, thru dodoro, will demand a first round pick for him. i wouldn't want to part with much more than a third rounder.
-
meanwhile, howe more likely to miss than not...
-
In: Grimes, Harmes Out: Wagner, Kennedy Cant see how Viney could get up. If he does would expect Bugg or VandenBerg to be out.

As a matter of interest, would the median age / games played provide a different perspective? -

THE BOMBERS' SWISS ADVENTURE
whatwhat say what replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
i always used to refer to him as 'hefferhack' as it served two purposes - he never looked where he was kicking and just hacked it away, and he was an absolute hack of a football at the dees. his heart clearly lay with the bombers. -
Just need to score one more point than them. That's not too much to ask...is it???
-
Well that was an outstanding quarter of wet weather football after the first 23 seconds where they got a goal out the back. Now keep it going in the second half!!
-
It's going to be a massacre. They play wet weather football and we [censored] fart around with dinky little handballs.
-
McDonald - either one - has no impact with the ball coming in on high. Either they can't play the zone or they're simply not good enough. Probably a little from column a, a little from column b.
-
Their talls and smalls are at a different class to us.
-
The McDonald boys remind me of Chris Lamb. Turning circle of the queen Mary!
-
He'd probably be starting ruck at Essendon, Gold Coast, Richmond and maybe Footscray, Hawthorn and Collingwood. Hampson was neither more nor less effective than him.
-
Team structure: B: small defender - key defender - third tall / mid HB: mid - key defender - mid C: mid - mid - mid HF: mid - key forward - mid F: mid - key forward - small forward Foll: ruck - mid - mid I/c: mid - mid - mid - third tall / mid You can never have enough mids!

The Jack Viney Made Me Cry Thread
whatwhat say what replied to Grapeviney's topic in Melbourne Demons
That's less of a blow that Viney. He picked a shocking time to break his hand throwing a punch. -
could we actually see the axe swung this week? hard not to justify with so many players down, one likely suspended, and two possible injuries. the only caveat for mine is that dawes and trengove both didn't have another game under their belts. if viney is suspended: IN: trengove, oliver, dunn, grimes, dawes OUT: viney (stupid), garland (injured), kent (or kennedy, depending on if the latter is injured), newton, o mac B: Jetta - Dunn - Wagner HB: Hunt - T. McDonald - Vince C: Stretch - N. Jones - Bugg HF: Petracca - Dawes - Kennedy / Kent F: Watts - Hogan - Garlett Foll: Gawn - Tyson - Oliver I/C: Trengove - Neal-Bullen - Grimes - Harmes Emerg: Newton - Pedersen - Kent / Michie it's hard to believe, but lumumba appears to be genuinely missed - he's that 'third tall' intercept player, funnily enough playing the role howe is playing at his former club currently, and he allows vince to move up into the midfield rotations more so than playing across half-back. you'd imagine having missed a month of footy he'll at least need a game under his belt in the vfl before coming back into the senior side.
-
And now Garland being knocked out but no stretcher being called for has cost a goal.
-
Garland's inability to hit targets on short kicks under minimal pressure is absolutely pathetic for a senior player.

Our small forwards are doing nothing.
