  1. been checked for concussion lately bbp? he ain't coming back.
  2. Saints have been all about Fyfe for about three years from all reports. If he's actually serious about wanting to move into the fashion industry off the field, he's gotta go to Sydney, either Sydney or GW$. All the jungle drums have him definitely leaving Freo, but we shall see...
  3. Second only to Bob Murphy I'd say.
  4. It is such good news, reading yr posts drunkn you can feel the excitement. Go Dec and go Dees!
  5. Fantastic to see him get his chance. Good luck to him!
  6. i've got no idea what jason taylor is going to do, and i'm happy to ride that wave.
  7. his highlights on the mfc site look pretty encouraging. looks like he reads the flight and judges the ball well, looks a good kick, looks like he has some pace. at one stage he does something stringer-esque, and then in the next clip stringer is kicking the ball and he's marking. i remember him bobbing up for a goal as he won a premiership for the dogs in the vfl, but i left after about the 10 minute mark of the last quarter, and don't really remember him standing out - it was all jong and adams destroying us in the third.
  8. he loves the club. i don't understand why he doesn't do more in the media. he's articulate, he's good looking, he was a 'flair' player, and he loves his footy. he's a top dude from my interactions with him and he well deserves success in a post-footy life!
  9. those are great photos
  10. i got him gordon, i got him! is that daniel our son, or daniel the lion-tamer? one of the great, great australian films.
  11. did he captain scotch, the school, or scotch's first xviii? article tends to indicate former.
  12. wow. that would completely change his opportunities to play football.
  13. this fella? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Hannan
  14. he looks like he'll be another of the type we like - big bodied, big kick, can play forward and contest football in the midfield. be interested in whether he's a quick player.
  15. AFL hopefuls strut their stuff in VFL finals Hannan's two goals and 10 marks helped the Dogs to a 32-point win over Collingwood in round 21, which ended the Pies' 12-game winning streak. The 22-year-old from St Bernards, since taking an old-fashioned hanger in April, has developed his game to a more consistent level in his second season in the VFL. "He's got his health and his conditioning to a level where he's playing midfield as well, and when he's got his ability to mark overhead and such a long-range left foot on him, he's certainly a weapon for us which is pleasing to have," Hansen said. Hansen described Hannan as a "blank canvas with plenty of potential". "I'd certainly say he's got AFL attributes … and he's a good size. Obviously he's a raw prospect in terms of the talent pathway. He's been a local footballer until he came into our program," he said. AFL hopefuls strut their stuff in VFL finals

  19. Will be interesting to see how the proposed lawsuit goes...
  20. Will not play for us again, claiming he was blocked from playing games last year, wants to sue cos his 4th year wasn't auto-triggered. Heritier Lumumba set to retire, could take legal action over concussion treatment
  21. Quality thread, thanks all!
  22. Very sad situation.
  23. Everyone see Reece McKenzie Facebook post? Mental health is a far far more serious issue than illicit or PE drug usage.
