  1. jackson never drops his head and butters up at each and every contest very quick hands and a good decision maker just needs to nail those set shots
  2. gw$ made it respectable by the end - turned what should've been a 100 point shellacking into a 5 goal loss
  3. sam reid likely to cop a week or two for knocking fyfe out https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-2021-nat-fyfe-bump-fremantle-vs-gws-giants-video-sam-reid-incident-match-review-suspension-concussion/news-story/b3d80beaa15a66817bc72256c05669da
  4. bont been brilliant
  5. he didn't win a lot of the footy but his defensive awareness and clamp that he put on butler was first rate
  6. we're weeks away from it even being a consideration, but ultimately... weid comes back, replaces fritsch as the deepest forward, freeing fritsch to move further up the ground, half-forward such as jones moves out of the f50 group and either to bench rotation or out of the best 22 ben brown comes back, replaces t mac as the main key forward, freeing t mac to move up to the wing role as was originally planned, or potentially out of the side depending on team balance and how the like of brayshaw is playing we'll also likely have harmes available again around the time of weid and sideshow bob from his broken wrist ideally we want a lot of selection issues coming up cos the side is in ripping form :)
  7. geez caleb daniel is having as poor a game as i've ever seen him play

41,051 at the g for hawks v tigers
  9. not even close
  10. covid country tho...soon everyone will have to stay inside, weather be damned
  11. could be their buddy moment as @Lucifer's Hero said, the swans are so well run that it's hard to see them 'losing' a player as talented as logan mcdonald, whereas north would have a hogan-a-like situation on their hands with the two wa sides no doubt chasing his signature at every opportunity
  12. the joys of academies now and extra salary cap room during their successful years, eh
  13. it's freo, i believe beat em on their dung heap a fortnight ago, now we get to beat em on our own
  14. i'd take dustin martin
  15. pretty exciting have you seen him play?
  16. yr mfcss on show every time :P as @dazzledavey36 said, his dad sais he loves the dees would be so nice if the next generation of white, woewodin, davey, et al could get the premiership success that the daniher generation never achieved
  17. that was the messaging from the afl wrt to victorian ticket sales i got the manuka email blast too (and now after last night really wish i'd bought a ticket and driven up haha)
  18. the relentless negativity deserves it every time
  19. i always thought it was geelong = jeerlong
  20. gosh he looks like his dad (sans blonde tips)
  21. clarko has sent old man junior burger to dusty and he's rolling with him across the ground - from midfield to last man back when neck tatts is deployed deep forward

crowd looks pretty small for hawks v tiggas at the g based upon what you can see on the television coverage one has 75k members, the other has 100k members it will be interesting to see the official figures

    25,903 and i'd say 60 / 40 or maybe 70 / 30 saints / dees splits
  24. $cully didn't 'break down' - his ankle and leg got snapped in half in a really nasty injury that could not be foreseen given the circumstances he made a decision to prioritise his family instead of his professional career which - probably due to the nasty injury - was never going to be the same again langdon is an aerobic beast and given the shortened rotations and how effective he was with the ball yesterday playing the full game i'd trust in the coaches and fitness staff to make sure it's not damaging him physically or mentally
  25. you have NO IDEA what you are talking about @Half forward flank - the phrase 'better to say nothing and be thought a fool than to open your mouth [or in this case post on demonland] and remove all doubt' comes to mind danny and gary were great mates and gary - along with many of his friends and co-workers like dunstall, etc. - was DEVASTATED when the news came through about his suicide; he spoke eloquently and from the heart i worked at fox footy at the time and it was a terrible, terrible thing to have happen; their support for their staff who were greatly affected by what happened was far better than anything they offered when they went through three rounds of redundancies in 2020
