AFL Friend or Foe
we are melbourne - we invented the game everyone else is irrelevant

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
absolutely no way a player should make their 'debut' as a sub hate that when other clubs do it and wouldn't want to see us do it either

taj woewodin incredible guts to take that hit
-
CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
we've locked em to push wide and long to contests in the same way our afl side does when it works, our system is brilliant and clearly well-drilled by the footy dept and implemented by players across all levels

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
fabulous tackle laurie

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond

CASEY: Rd 05 vs Richmond
that bounce was hilarious - straight thru tomlinson 6.3.39 to 3.0.18 zero defensive pressure from our front half

The New TV and Media Broadcast Deal
et tu, brutus? 20 year old bunny ears from tandy are a godsend that or an illegal stream in 4k...

TEAMS: Rd 06 vs Richmond
i personally would've gone with tommy mac over weed simply cos i 'trust' him more, but if you look at the numbers, they're remarkably similar except for contested marks (where weed is averaging 2 a game, and plugger under 1), weed is taking double the i50 marks, weed is nearly 1 more i50 entry per game higher, but his 1%ers are way down compared to tom - which is probably why i favoured him as his 'effort' seems much higher i dunno...like always since late 2020 i'm basically backing on the coaching dept to have pulled the right rein

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
pfft, langdon's was betterer freo look good - solid defensively and lots of attacking options, with fyfe still to come back
-
NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
particularly ironic as he's sitting in a studio in docklands
-
NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022

The New TV and Media Broadcast Deal
they've talked about foxtel / streamotion floating for about five years; yet to happen will it actually go thru this time?
-
The New TV and Media Broadcast Deal
there's a version of this story rolled out every media rights deal and invariably it ends up being news corp and a fta that get the rights every time the rights are up the afl briefs that streamers are interested; i think for international platforms it's just too small a base to invest in

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
that's cos it's not a 'rule' it's an 'interpretation' afl yet again seeing a molehill and making a mess of a mountain out of it
-
NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
that wouldn't be dissent tho...
-
NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
i reckon our defensive structure will be able to stop them and - at least judging by the two games i've watched them play this year - they're free-scoring and lack the defensive accountability that is our trademark they can definitely score quickly tho
-
NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
yeah, but he's clearly much, much stronger in the contest now, and seems to be reading the ball in the air a lot better this season
-
NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
did you know he's got his own marquee? he's a bilo clayton oliver; quite good, but not as good
-
NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
even the bit-part players at gw$ seem to be incredibly selfish; their inability to play as a 'team' seems to have been what's held them back for their existence
-
NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
very interested to see how we go against the aints in a few weeks they seem to be able to get a man - usually 'missy' higgins - out the back on a regular basis, and max king's height + mobility might actually be a tough match-up for may; i wonder whether petty might be a better match-up

CHANGES: Rd 06 vs Richmond
this is true, but sideshow bob's ability to mark it at the end of his reach is extraordinary he's already helped by being 200cm tall, then his arms are LONG it'd be interesting to know what his stretch reach is; i think it'd probably be significantly greater than his actual height - think of michael jordan, who was 198cm but had a span of 210cm (e.g. 6 foot 6 height but 6 foot 11 wingspan)
