  1. yairs, it's listed as 'hot', so i think i've got zero chance i literally have known the owner of the croxton for 30 years and she still says 'no freebies' for this show heard cam winter at the forum last nite - heard but couldn't see cos he was a man with his back to the stage playing the piano at a flat floor venue; shoulda been at the palais or the plenary
  2. being a melbourne person, i am of course a triple r listener breaking and entering for new release music far and wide for uk indie local and / or general for, well, local releases maps for interconnected muzak from all over off the record for the best in roots and country, americana etc. respect the rock for, well, rock that deserves yr respect the australian mood for all over the shop from around the country, from new to the past we are SO LUCKY to have two great independent radio stations in oztraya, in triple r and pbs
  3. it should be oztrayan only performers we have incredible artists around this nation and instead we get foreign artists parachuted in to make their millions and prepare for their next antipodean tour it's appalling, but expected
  4. presumably the difference is that we have additional facilities at casey whereas hawthorn only had waverley until the move to dingley was completed, which is such a bigger parcel of land than waverley ever could be we're looking to, effectively, need to accomodate four teams - aflm, vflm, vflm, vflw - plus all the administration of the club itself if caulfield happens we'll be in a great position, with caulfield and casey available to us
  5. Unfortunately this is my take on it too Hopefully set to be proved wrong
  6. great week coming up... monday: cameron winter (from geese) at the forum tuesday: folk [censored] trio 'candelight' show at fed square wednesday: alex g at the palais (if i can get a ticket thru tixel!) thursday: geese at the croxton (manifesting!! c'mon tixel, do yer thing; if anyone knows anyone looking to offload a ticket, lemme know) friday: laneway festival with chappell roan, wolf alice, a bit of wet leg, geese, oklou, wisp
  7. have not really had a home since 1964, tbh
  8. yairs, i was aware i don't wanna be at casey either
  9. Looks like Casey to me… Waverley better be a stop gap
  10. super positive write-up @Brenno based on what you saw, who do you expect to make the best 23, given that there's an expectation that the likes of picketts (picketti?) come into the team from here to give us some extra zip around the contest and up forward?
  11. hit the dismiss button and it went away but clearly a crackdown on password sharing is coming
  12. is smith no longer at casey? i'd expect him to be in their best back 6
  13. achilles injuries are pretty nasty no petracca, no oliver, no viney in 2026 = entirely new midfield
  14. boom boom - looks like the crackdown has arrived; this was thru apple tv
  15. legendary post-hardcore fourpiece girls against boys playing oztraya for the first time in 25+ years. since they toured with magic dirt melbourne show is at the tote this friday
  16. based on this he might be small but his craft, skill, and speed may make up for it looks good from both an attacking and defensive mindset
  17. won't win i definitely no longer have access to that email - was from the dim darks when i was workin' the damn thang
  18. did i join last year? if i could have the code pls?
  19. i would imagine so the afl have to sign off on everything
  20. nick cave played for 2 hours and 50 mins tonite for the first of three nights in melbourne can't wait to go back again on sunday
  21. still heaps of footy left in his career needs a good run with injury
  22. it feels like port adelaide's my atm / aussie atm era of sponsors has arrived for the mfc
  23. SEN really are trawling for footy content, aren’t they? Hutchy set to buy ninefax radio licenses too
  24. the lack of $$s from them is more concerning than their hideous branding
  25. really, he should be the logical 'replacement' for viney in the midfield i'm yet to be convinced he will be
