  1. heads will explode when petty plays back in the vfl then comes straight back into the afl as a forward
  2. memberships are meaningless if they don't turn up to watch the team play, primarily because of the performance of the team
  3. they're only a 'big' club because the medja says they are they've not really been so for 20 years
  4. i would love cadman i would settle for ricardi
  5. second only to gawn during the course of his career - his best year were incredible i hold out hope he returns to close to that before his time with the mfc is up
  6. tbh i thought the girls' season last year was even more of a let down than the boys' 2024 i'm hoping they can rocket back up the ladder in aflw, as opposed to what we've seen in 2025 in the aflm
  7. i presume he is a pre-agent at the end of this season? no doubt he'd have 'value' for sides looking for that last little bit of f50 oomph to go from top 4 to premiership, top 8 to top 4, etc. i still see him as our best f50 player
  8. Well, not with Lever out injured I don’t 😜 IN: May, Spargo, Petty OUT: Lever, Tholstrup, Sparrow
  9. we had two; sideshow bob and plugger mac!
  10. plus sparrow two premiership players for a future gw$ coleman medallist
  11. "decided" to send hogan on his way?? insomuch as doing that trade contributed significantly to our premiership, sure the only other true key forward i can recall having on our list between neitz and hogan is mitch clark and, well, there were other issues at play there in the end beyond injury we've definitely lost some ripper players to homesickness, but there's not many clubs who don't
  12. that only happens to mfc players; reckon anb was the ONLY player to contest a 3 week ban and come out of the tribunal with 4
  13. the other issue is if we're giving away oliver for little (a second round pick), paying overs for flanders (two first round picks), and then paying the former $500k to play elsewhere and the latter $1m, aren't we better off just keeping clayton?
  14. not pacey tho
  15. i can't believe i'm missing clarry's 200th but alas, the hives i'm not sure i entirely agree with this chat gpt summary (mostly cos abba do nothing for me; roxette were a far superior pop group), but rest assured that every cheer for howlin' pelle will be also directed towards the boys in red and blue at the g
  16. lalor looks a jet, o'sullivan is super smooth, smith has been injured, draper looks good, and levi ashcroft looks like a gem very, very happy with langford at pick 6, not to mention lindsay at pick 11
  17. had forgotten about spargo; his vfl game was excellent IN: may, spargo, petty OUT: plugger mac, sparrow, tholstrup i love tommy, but if may is fit it's the only change to make - big body tall defender for bigger brute tall defender tholstrup doesn't really play as a 'small' forward so petty can replace him in the forward line, while spargo gives the forward pressure position coverage in sparrow's enforced absence the other one is howes might come in for lever, although i suspect he'll stay in the side
  18. aints choked
  19. very hard to see him not being the rising star winner at this point not sure what other rookies are close to as assured
  20. i think we'll perservere with having him as a half forward, but in an ideal world he'd go back to casey and work on his attack on the ball and the man lacks intensity
  21. 6: melksham 5: fritsch 4: petracca 3: langford 2: gawn 1: chandler
  22. too weak in the contest and doesn't work hard at all defensively perservere for the rest of the season but he needs a massive between seasons
  23. OUT: Tholstrup, plugger Mac, Sparrow IN: May, Petty, Mentha
  24. 35,844 Great crowd
