  1. watson on sen this morning said that we are keen on matthew scarlett as the assistant defensive coach
  2. very interested to see where ned reeves is next season
  3. who got ruck over tc? must've had a helluva season
  4. that quote is very different to what the medja and some here have referenced
  5. Benchmarks = the new learnings
  6. like every club, we have a minimum that we have to pay - i think it's 95% as a minimum over 3 years then a max of 110% over two, so it works out as 100% of total cap spend over a six year period? the rules are...opaque from my understanding there's never as much cap 'space' either positively or negatively as the medja make out that there is
  7. if buckley does get the taswegian job, he'll have had 7 years between afl coaching gigs quite the gap
  8. We have a duke, soon a king, previously an earl…
  9. Reckon it’ll be a lot Head office will incentivise players to suit up
  10. He will want to play
  11. Also, Ethernet rather than rely on wifi
  12. Frankly cranky, I don’t care what you think
  13. i've read that twice on demonland now, so it must be true
  14. he wouldn't be alone there tho - rivers wants to be a midfielder but his defensive workrate as a mid is non-existent, hence why he keeps getting shunted to half back mcvee has the capacity to be one of the elite lockdown defenders in the competition; i know midfielders get to run around a lot more, but the likes of jetta, starcevich etc. are far rarer and just as valuable imo
  15. if we keep future trading up every year then we'll never not have a first round pick... there's always talented kids available
  16. doesn't smith have more social media followers than most afl clubs?
  17. gc17 play the g very well - the balance of their side suits that size of ground i give them more a chance of pushing the filth next week than the walking wounded bears
  18. i doubt very much that they will want woey 2.0
  19. kate hore is a SUPERSTAR if we pinch this it's daylight robbery
  20. trac's sponsorship agreement is with coles bonnie toogood - or patrick dangerfield - have additional service agreements (asa's) with their club where they 'represent' their club for, well, additional services i spoke to trac yesterday at an event, fwiw - this was prior to the appointment of king, but trac seems in a great headspace and ready to get cracking for 2026 already
  21. my crom mate who was there last nite said: 15th to 1st, over achieved for the year. Won’t go that far backwards next year. Not overly upset. Annoyed but not devastated i think he's keeping a stiff upper lip cos the bottom one is definitely wobbling... you finish top of the table like they did you should not [censored] the bed like they did
  22. when gc17 in their glorious pink guernsey is the best of the bad options, you know yr in trouble dimma is a winner, the rotten so-and-so
  23. Yeah I think the latter Cos he’s not Rowell or Anderson
  24. Because we are crying out for a midfielder who can hit targets by foot and defend when not in possession He’s what we thought Laurie would become, but Bill can’t kick
