  1. very hard to see him not being the rising star winner at this point not sure what other rookies are close to as assured
  2. i think we'll perservere with having him as a half forward, but in an ideal world he'd go back to casey and work on his attack on the ball and the man lacks intensity
  3. 6: melksham 5: fritsch 4: petracca 3: langford 2: gawn 1: chandler
  4. too weak in the contest and doesn't work hard at all defensively perservere for the rest of the season but he needs a massive between seasons
  5. OUT: Tholstrup, plugger Mac, Sparrow IN: May, Petty, Mentha
  6. I am not in the ‘sack Goodwin’ band wagon but if we don’t go 4-3 in the last seven I’ll be pretty disappointed However … If we lose to this north line up missing three of their top handful of players I will probably climb aboard
  7. i live in thanks that we won't lose to them twice in a season, as playing an injury-ravaged peptides is exactly the sort of game where we kick 7.21 to lose by 3 or so goals
  8. usman's form is as bad as warner's was what do the three k's - khawaja, konstas, and kettleborough - have in common? none of em can pick an inswinger
  9. agreed people seem to forget that hodge, mitchell, and lewis were well into their 30s by the time they left dingley - they've won one finals game since in a decade of seasons, and that was last year against a footscray side who just came to a stop midway thru the third quarter the more apt comparison for us is not petracca and oliver but instead may and gawn the filth changed coach not once but twice after their 2010 premiership before they won another flag; they are arguably one of the most well-resourced and professionally run football organisations during that time period puddy tatts recruited not one not two but three generational players from other clubs - dangerfield, ablett jr coming home, and cameron - after their 2007, 2009, and 2011 salutes and still have only one flag to their name since premierships are bloody hard to win
  10. unnecesarily harsh players on ground say all sorts of rubbish; there's many stories about the dees circa 2015-19 being VERY lippy they won't be the first, nor the last
  11. 25k is next to no chance; 20k might be a chance...
  12. konstas is a kid surprised by yr attitude towards him @Ghostwriter given yr fervent defense of the mfc kids he's played four tests; plenty of time to grow into the role
  13. 200k or so combined members between tigs and peptides; 53k in attendance
  14. doubt it will see the final session in the morn given it's a day / night clash starting at 4.30am melbourne-time
  15. pant threw his wicket away with a completely unnecessary attempt at a single to try to give rohit the strike to get his 100 before lunch stupid, stupid, stupid as sunny would say
  16. big win in the end 16.15.111 to 5.5.35 stats: i'd go: 6: billings 5: verrall 4: hardie 3: culley 2: mentha 1: howes
  17. he and verrall are two of the few youngsters i was excited to watch this evening - super impressed by both
  18. mentha's pace is genuinely exciting
  19. 3rd for mentha - smart not to compete in the air, no one else at ground level, walks it into goal
  20. not for mine he is an undersized inside mid
  21. hardie plays a lot like anb - just works so hard to get to the 'right' spots
  22. great kick noah yze
  23. spargo is a class above i just wish he'd win the footy 25-30 times a game, not 10-15
  24. fantastic pressure from spargo creates an opportunity for laurie, who does not miss from directly in front, mebbe 40m out
