  1. his effort and endeavour was good he'll be fine
  2. 6: gawn 5: mcdonald 4: chandler 3: langdon 2: rivers 1: may
  3. he wouldn't be in our first rotation midfield unit and he would be silly to want to come to us if he wants to be a primary mid for mine he lacks defensive running, has little penetration in his kicking, and he's slow it's a pass
  4. our midfield has been way down on clearances and contested football all season thus far need to address that during the bye
  5. Also our fixture is pretty funny now for a bit: - 13 days til Richmond - 10 til cats - 5 til baggers - 10 til meth coke
  6. I know it was only 22 but that feels like the worst loss in five years 3 games in 12 days was a bridge too far It’s a long season
  7. It all feels old school MFC watching our midfield getting slaughtered, our backline under siege, and our forwards stagnant Worst performance since 2019
  8. sam maclure will be sharpening his pencil
  9. best guesses? Rd 16: vs Brisbane (Gabba) - Saturday night on C7 Rd 17: vs WCE (MCG) - Sunday early on Fox Rd 18: vs Essendon (MCG) - Saturday night on C7 Rd 19: vs Fremantle (OS) - Sunday arvo on C7 Rd 20: vs GWS (MCG) - Sunday arvo on C7 Rd 21: vs Western Bulldogs (Marvel) -Saturday nite on C7 Rd 22: vs Port Adelaide (MCG) - Saturday nite on C7 Rd 23: vs Gold Coast (GC) - Saturday twilight on Fox Rd 24: vs Collingwood (MCG) - Friday night on C7 that's a very repucom-friendly fixture to finish the season
  10. he would be a fantastic replacement for our missing midfielder, gus brayshaw, if we can get him as a free agent too hard to secure him in a trade
  11. casey will be a huge component of our strategy going forward as has been stated before, you need 3-4 full size ovals with four teams (afl, aflw, vfl, vflw) all needing capacity to train etc. during the on- and off-seasons
  12. i reckon sub 40k crowd would be about standard for dees vs bears
  13. plugger is awesome that he and petty are going to be dual premiership players by the end of 2024 as both key forwards and key backs is an extraordinary achievement
  14. yeah toey as us? footscray gw$ baggers gc17 pears cats meth coke? reckon the latter are due a surprise win; tigs SHOULD beat em, but... our game and pear vs flagmantle the clear call outs for game of the round for mine; heard some idjit on 3aw or sen saying that footscray vs peptides is the game of the round cos the loser is in huge trouble...
  15. eh? he's been very good so far this year once he moves back into midfield rotation - likely after bowey is back - he'll win a lot more footy don't look at his fantasy / supercoach scores for his effect on team, and team balance
  16. interesting that yze is relief rucking as quite an undersized option
  17. this is true, but goodwin doesn't play funny buggers - in the presser yesterday he was asked directly about claz and said "he'll play"
  18. first time since sydney game that i feel REALLY toey i want this win badly
  19. they will in the not too distant future intercept defenders who play on the #1 tall forward are, arguably, the most valuable players in the modern game see: harris andrews jacob weitering darcy moore sam taylor steve may would be amongst the highest paid players at their respective clubs; hell, even esava ratugolea is on significant coin at the pear it won't be long til the best paid players in the game are on that sort of $1.5m a year mark
  20. that run and carry and constant 1-2 give-and-get in that video is SO MUCH like caleb windsor to me
  21. former workmate used to wear them every day to avoid the glare of laptops was funny
  22. and presumably that'll be the only change, kolt 4 koz? woey 2.0 remains the sub if woewodin comes in on the last again he can get a full game at casey on the weekend proper
  23. alan johnson on the wing is who he reminds me of the most
