What they're saying about Max elsewhere
godees replied to Queanbeyan Demon's topic in Melbourne Demons
It was one of the worst games I have seen him play (fair enough though, he had a torn hammy!) It shows what a champ he is. -
What they're saying about Max elsewhere

Uh May was a almost a liability in the GF. Such a competitor that he was able to beat his opponent but there were quite a few moments where the hammy was limiting him. I wouldn’t be using him as an example that it’s ok to play unfit players. -
There is no way Collingwood will finish even bottom 4. I was hoping that we wouldn’t be favourites because a good run with injuries and I think we are good things. I’ll pop a few bucks on anyway. Do it for Daisy!

Have you seen the Murdoch press?
-
Common things are common. Don’t go looking for the zebra. It is drilled into you throughout your training. I certainly wouldn’t be offering an opinion if I did have access to his medical records. People are constantly manipulating situations during this pandemic to suit their politics/agenda. Maybe I’m cynical, maybe you are naive.
-
I am a doctor. I have no specific knowledge of his admission but my medical training says that the booster being the cause of him being admitted to icu in those circumstances very very unlikely (especially in the context of his political views/agenda).
-
“I got sick from the booster. Oh and by the way I just realised I have covid”. Really?! 😒 I really doubt it was the booster alone (most likely just coincidental timing) that put him in ICU. This has no relevance to your average punter who doesn’t have his medical history/current covid infection and is irresponsible journalism given there is more questions than answers about what has happened to him.

That’s awesome! I’d be interested in a print

I heard Essendon were also keen and trying to trade up to get him

Injuries happen when your list profile is older. The tigers will be competitive next year but not for the premiership, even with a good injury run. I would be surprised if they have lots of injuries again and miss the 8.

Not sure if sarcastic… Goody and Taylor love good kicks. Those two players are questionable in that aspect
-
Weid will play more games than TMac next year
-
Bad kicks? Don’t think so
-
I think we would have him as one of our biggest targets but likely gone before we get a pick unless we can sneak higher

This narrative is absolute rubbish. There are surge plans right throughout the healthcare system that are being enacted (I am a healthcare worker). We are as prepared as we possibly can be. The nature of the virus makes caring for patients and keeping ourselves safe incredibly difficult. There is capacity to surge but it will be at the expense of elective capacity because the government and hospitals cannot do miracles. “No changes” is just so absurd that it completely undermines everything you say.

Oskar Baker is a wasted list spot

The points system doesn’t mean anything to us

Putrid by foot. No thanks

Walker is going to be a distraction for Adelaide next year. Should be roundly booed in all of his games
-
Agree that option 2 is pretty likely. He is not going to confirm before he can meet with the new coach.

Plus Freo don't need pick 6 for Lachie Neale anymore. Makes things slightly easier. Players will nominate the club they want to go to. If he nominates us and we can't come to an agreement with Freo, he will just end up at North and Freo will end up with nothing. North wouldn't be the worst back up plan for Cerra

Anyone know if the club is letting us transfer the GFG to 2022 if we are trapped in Victoria?

What they are saying at Moorabool Street

A lesson in diversifying investments. Nothing is without risk and it is crazy to put so much into a project that your house is on the line (even if you think it is low risk). The height of stupidity.
