  1. Pick 5 and 11 for Hogan and pick 36 Freo then send 23 and 36 to GWS for Lobb
  2. Would he want to go to a bottom 2/3 side...?
  3. I re-watched the first quarter of the prelim this afternoon (first time since live) and Tyson was deplorable. He needs to go. He is an inside midfielder only. We have other depth in that area. There is no need to hang onto him and we could get a pick in the 30s back (as he’s still young and a decent inside mid). Get it done
  4. Nothing less than picks 5 and 10 will be acceptable
  5. By my calculations, Hogan is NOT a free agent at the end of next year. Can anyone confirm?
  6. Interesting that our umpires won’t be doing the GF. Suspect that the failure to reverse after McGovern hit Viney and the ridiculous protected area 50 against Oliver (who was doing exactly what you are supposed to do in that situation) may have cost them
  7. Definitely agree on point 1. We need some wings with pace. Fritsch, Stretch and Hunt are probably the only current options on the list. Must go to the draft on this. A quick small forward is also essential in this trade/draft period
  8. Umpires took the momentum from us and handed it too them on a platter in that second quarter. We were killed by our lack of a recognised ruckman. Big need this off season. Fingers crossed for Preuss
  9. Some fairly irrational responses here. I get you’re hurting but seriously. Hunt was good early, tried to take the game on and was under pressure every time he went near it. A good preseason and regaining some confidence will do a lot for him. Keilty and Petty were solid, including a huge impact early. JKH was excellent early but faded. Garlett poor. McKenna unsighted. Bernie tried but has called it at the right time. Pedo was Pedo. JWagner quiet. Tim Smith contributed. Bugg fought all game but struggled to have a big impact. Fritsch showed his talent and one of the few to continue to take the game on (though can’t understand why they think he’s a defender).
  10. WCE were terrible for a large part of the game. We can take them
  11. What a farce this league is becoming. The AFL has completely mismanaged it right from the ridiculous lockout in the first game. They don’t understand the aflw’s market (and that it is quite different to the afl’s)
  12. Bombers massively overrated by media. Have had a charmed run meeting injury depleted sides for their “best wins”. GWS, WCE, Port, even Sydney were missing plenty. Not to mention Richmond last week. Ladder absolutely reflects where they are at.
  13. Zac Clarke as late pick or rookie could be a good backup for Gawn
  14. Joel Smith in for Spargo Push Fritsch back to forward/wing
  15. Garlett had 16 pressure acts, equal 6th for us. Tackle count isn’t everything
  16. I suspect they’ll go for Hannan
  17. No way that Cripps gets suspended. Wasn’t even a particularly strong tackle. Swallow just st unlucky
  18. I'll be supporting Essendon tonight (vomit!). They have Hawthorn next week (then StK), then Richmond and Port away in their last two rounds and need 4 out of 5 to make 13 wins. It's not completely unrealistic but I think they are a long shot to make the 8. Sydney have a super tough run and if they drop this they could also miss finals. FWIW I have tipped Sydney, as I don't rate Essendon.
  19. Having a look at the round one teams, there have been major changes to both sides. For the Cats Ins - Danger, Stanley, Cunico, Henry, S Selwood, Narkle, Jones, Henderson Outs - Taylor, Gregson, Ratagolea, Parsons, Smith, O’Connor, Fogarty, Zac Guthrie For us, Ins - Tmac, Brayshaw, Tyson, Frost, Spargo, JKH, J Smith Outs - Hannan, Hibberd, Lever, Maynard, Wagner, Hunt, Pedo Neither team has a significantly better or worse side, especially considering Lever had a shocker and Ratagolea played a great game. Edit: missed Henderson for Guthrie
  20. Hind for Essendon certainly looks like he has some potential. Bit of speed and class. Worth a look by Taylor and co I think. 23yo (soon to be 24), 180cm
  21. Doesn't mean TMac is out. Could easily be coming in for Tim Smith
