Agree on Cunningham. We were far too tall up forward
-
Umpiring (for both sides) showing why the players kicked up a stink when doing the new EBA. We have massively missed Hore’s class.

That paxy miss says it all

This is the worst rule change of the lot. Will be a spectacular mess. Will decide some games.
-
Salem is a muuuch better kick than Saad, who is prone to high bombs. Saad is otherwise better than him and very good one on one.
-
I am amazed that Brisbane would offer enough guaranteed $ in the contract to get first round compensation. He has barely played in three years and far from dominated in his games this year.
-
Not happy, not disappointed. Baffled that Geelong went after him - their supporters hate hawthorn and will pile on if it doesn’t turn out well. Plus they have Higgins coming in already.
-
I have a medical background and, without knowing the details with Higgins, I doubt there will be further issues. A few journos going with Higgins to Stk though. Richmond fans laughing at the idea he is fast (I assumed he was). Makes sense as to why he hasn’t been getting a game there. Still want his footy smarts - would be a good partner to Kozzy

The west coast talls were huge in the 2018 GF -
He comfortably beat Jack Darling.

Fritsch could be handy on the wing if he got fit enough -
The original idea of the video review was for obvious/clear mistakes. Umpires call was the correct call by ARC

One set of rules for Richmond and a different set for the rest of the comp

Bargain buy. The melts on north’s bigfooty board suggest he is still very highly rated by their fans. If he passes a medical I’m all for it -
So basically no explanation of why they thought Andrews, Weitering and Moore had a better year than May. Seems to just be “the vibe”

I’d take him in a second for a reasonable price, if expected to recover from this knee injury. Would add plenty -

Even if the club can forgive this indiscretion (his first with us), he needs to develop some hunger for the ball and contest or he will never be any good again. -

If they keep him on I suspect they would delist first then give him another summer trial for a supplemental selection period spot. -
My mistake. I mixed him up with Robbo in 2005 who came third in the Coleman with a similar amount of goals as Farmer in 2000, yet inexplicably was not selected.
-
Reminds me of Farmer missing out in 2000, despite kicking more than 60 home and away goals. Woey in 2000 also. Yze missed out in some exceptional years. It’s chronic.

Just had a quick look through AFL stats pro because I'm astounded by this decision. Vs WCE (Kennedy) - no goals Vs Carl (mix) - one goal to McGovern Vs Geel (Hawkins/Ratu) - no goals (Lever on Hawkins for his single goal) Vs Rich (mostly Lynch) - we could say 2 here (Lynch kicked 3 but one he appears to be marked by Lever, one from poor turnover in middle of the ground and no clear opponent, one from free kick against Smith when picking up loose ball - prob May on him at the time) Vs GCS (King) - one goal Vs Hawthorn (mostly Gunston) - 2 goals (one kicked on Lever) Vs Bris (Hipwood) - one goal Vs Port (Dixon) - no goals (Dixon's one goal was a free in ruck contest against Gawn) Vs Adelaide (Walker) - no goals Vs North (mix) - one goal when on Larkey Vs Coll (Reid/Cameron) - 1-2 goals (one was a high tackle free against Hibbo) Vs WB - Naughton - no goals Vs Stk (King/Marshall) - 2 goals (one each) Vs Syd (mix) - 1 goal (McLean) Vs Freo (Taberner) - no goals Vs GWS (Cameron) - 1 goal Vs Ess (mostly Daniher) - no goals So I say 13 goals from 17 games, which included playing on the best tall forwards in the league (Cameron, Lynch, Dixon, Hawkins, Kennedy etc)

Agreed. I’m really surprised there is that much difference in the betting. Anderson has been very good and I’d argue, actually significantly better than Serong.
-
It’s stupid how it is awarded weekly but the argument that IQ got it for consistency of performance doesn’t hold. Hasn’t performed any better than Rivers (Sholl’s season averages are a bit down on those two). Collingwood factor

He was handy. Defender and rucks don’t traditionally poll well so he is a good chance of one or two.
