  1. If Harry Petty stays fit this year, he is going to put a lot of you back in your boxes. We are well setup up with him, Turner and Lever for several more years. I’m not convinced about Adams so do concede we need more depth but it’s hardly our biggest issue. We should be all in on Humphrey who (as a power mid-fwd) would complement our recent recruiting very well.
  2. The good thing about an isolated MCL injury is that you can get back to straight line running relatively early in your rehab. I had a grade 2 MCL injury a few years ago and they heal up well (good blood supply).
  3. Geez it looked like a simple medial ligament injury when watching. Not your usual ACL mechanism but was pretty awkward - really hope not! Such a shame, he has been looking ready to step up
  4. I don’t think he’s Frost-like - just a poor kick. He creates time with the ball and looks like he has some kind of plan. But he simply missed multiple kicks under minimal pressure.
  5. Really impressed with our ball movement. We already look miles better than last year. Expectations upgraded from “hope we aren’t bottom four” to “could we be a wildcard”
  6. Medial ligament. Didn’t look too bad
  7. Any way to keep track of scores if no Kayo?
  8. I hope he is not booed. I certainly won’t be. But I won’t be cheering him either.
  9. Surprised Geelong got so close to Hawthorn, given the respective line-ups
  10. With the description it could be fractured collarbone, which is usually only a couple of weeks out if a simple fracture🤞🏼
  11. People were saying the same thing about Hawthorn a couple of years ago. They are an exception, as most young teams struggle after losing a lot of high end experience, but do show that a group of talented young players can improve very quickly.
  12. Zanker is out of contract. McNamara is contracted for another year.
  13. Don’t know how that happens. She’s contracted and GC need a bazillion draft points for all of their gun academy players
  14. Andrew Dillon is completely out of his depth. I’m pretty neutral about a wildcard round but that is just idiotic. He is the most mediocre AFL executive in memory. His decision-making, the way he communicates. It is remarkable they thought he was up to the job. Laura Kane has copped a lot of heat for things that he is ultimately responsible for.
  15. Yes, he’s doing an MBA. He was back in WA for his brother’s wedding though.
  16. Riley Beverage reporting that Chaplin is out. Huge loss
  17. Fox saying Hore will have a concussion test in the rooms post game
  18. It seems like there might be 7 clear stand outs (of the non-NGA/FS) then a step down to the next level. Duursma, CDT, Robey, Grlj, X Taylor, Sharp and Cummings. At least we should get one.
  19. Whilst I like Molly O, we missed a trick not getting Zippy Fish in. She just looks a natural footballer and has it all.
  20. Two wrongs don’t make a right 😜
  21. Jeff Farmer…
  22. The fact that finishing last is a possibility, even if fairly remote, means trading either of our 2026 or 2027 F1s is a very bad idea IMO. North should improve, though their defence is still trash. I think Essendon will be worse next year, even though they had a spectacularly bad run with injury, but could be wrong if they can get some continuity. Tigers and eagles should be bottom two again. Port could drop but there are not many others above us who I could confidently say will fall.
  23. I hope we don’t sell the farm for Robey
  24. oops, missed this post
