Welcome to Demonland: Picks 7 & 8
It seems like there might be 7 clear stand outs (of the non-NGA/FS) then a step down to the next level. Duursma, CDT, Robey, Grlj, X Taylor, Sharp and Cummings. At least we should get one.

AFLW: Rd 11 vs Brisbane
Whilst I like Molly O, we missed a trick not getting Zippy Fish in. She just looks a natural footballer and has it all.

The Sullivan Robey Thread
The fact that finishing last is a possibility, even if fairly remote, means trading either of our 2026 or 2027 F1s is a very bad idea IMO. North should improve, though their defence is still trash. I think Essendon will be worse next year, even though they had a spectacularly bad run with injury, but could be wrong if they can get some continuity. Tigers and eagles should be bottom two again. Port could drop but there are not many others above us who I could confidently say will fall.

I hope we donโt sell the farm for Robey

Doesnโt TH have girls? His sisters went to Geelong College (and one of them dated Jimmy Bartel whilst at school). Donโt ask how I know

Welcome to Demonland: Picks 7 & 8
Adrian Caruso (GWS recruiter) said on SEN yesterday that they really rate the first 12 or so, though I canโt remember the exact words he used, then drops off after that. Top end not as elite as usual, as you have said. But it seems that our range (7/8 moving to 11/12ish) may actually be at a normal quality for that range.

Injuries killed Freo and thatโs what we will rely on with GCS. They are now absolutely stacked

AFLW: Rd 09 vs Fremantle
The HTB interpretation is now so over the top. Completely excessive amount of frees which regularly completely baffle the players. Giving less benefit of the doubt on HTB than previous seasons is ok, but has gone way too far. So often a player has no prior and there are six hands on the ball and apparently they arenโt trying hard enough to get it out. Umps with absolutely no feel for the game

I fear broken ribs for Harris, which would be a real shame given her recent form.

AFLW: Rd 09 vs Fremantle
Did you watch the game? When they get two goals within 15 metres of goal from two of the most soft frees you will see then the free kick count means very little. So frustrating. We should have won that but didnโt take our chances enough (or have such gifts). Backline is still a bit of a worry. We were much more steady with Saraid Taylor earlier in the season and could really use Lampard back.

AFLW: Rd 09 vs Fremantle
Umpiring [censored] as usual in AFLW. Two of their goals from two of the softest frees you will see

Leek Aleer
We would be stupid to go after Aleer when that is the area of the ground we have the best depth and good quality. Petty, Turner, Lever, McDonald, May, Adams - there is no need for more key defenders.

I really hope the club is smart about the high value of our F1. Our F2 should be pretty valuable too and perhaps it should be the one on offer, along with Trac obviously and potentially picks this year depending on what is coming back.

AFLW: Rd 08 vs Essendon
Just watched much of the second half of Hawks vs Freo. Umpiring was disgraceful. Makes it so hard to enjoy watching a game as a neutral #freekickhawthorn

AFLW: Rd 07 vs Gold Coast
It has been a very easy fixture. Handy though, giving us time to get our injured players back. Really need Lampy and Mackin back by finals though to be able to challenge North.

Wade Derksen
Himmelberg also plays back for GWS. They are stacked for key defenders.
