I don't know but I kind of find it strange how behavioural clauses of any kind are apparently frowned upon in contracts. It all depends on what they wre exactly but are Collingwood not within their rights to demand a certain level of behaviour from someone they have been faithful to when they probably could have sacked him? A bunch of Collingwood fans I know were saying during the year that they would only keep De Goey if the club 'laid down the law' to him and gave him a modest offer. Now a selection of media is going crazy and questioning the audacity of Collingwood to put an offer like this in front of Jordan. I don't necessarily think Jordan should have accepted it but my word there has been a massive over correction from these experts.

Collingwood should do some kind of joint sponsorship with the TV show Love Island. Fits their values and ethos perfectly.

Apart from hiring Mark Neeld what are some of these other roles he's mucked up? Thought his first year out of the game in a support coaching role helping to bring on young forwards like Brad Green and Cameron Bruce was pretty useful.

The elephant in the room here is Gold Coast's inability to manage anything. Here we have a great young player originally from Surfers out of the academy, someone they should be building their team around as someone that won't just nick off back to Victoria and maybe even a future captain and they bulldoze any good bamboo roots they've grown with this ridiculous contract and now have to bail water out of the boat yet again. This club doesn't get it and I'm not confident they ever will.
