  1. I'm just not sure Macca. There's been some excellent cases put forward such as yours and they all make good sense. There is no reason why a tandem can't work between Gawn and Grundy but I can't help but feel that there's a bit of sqaure peg round hole about this one. Or maybe, round peg but the hole hasn't been drilled yet. Grundy is younger than Gawn yes, but only by a couple of years and I'm not convinced that he's any less banged up. I'm not inflexible though and I could come around to this way of thinking when trade period is here. At this stage I would love to save a bit of money to throw at someone who can help us up forward, but if Collingwood are happy to pay a decent chunk then you'd be crazy not to look at him.

When I throw on the 3 min Man City highlights I always expect 2 goals in the first minute. It happened but for Palace. Frustrating 😐
  3. @old deemight be keen on some of the above?
  4. It's bananas in the first place to be considering taking on Grundy and his whopper contract. However it is a whole bushel of bananas to suggest we keep Jackson AND get Grundy in as well.
  5. Nice one! Will the finals all be watchable? Edit: Yes they will, should have read post better.
  6. Ooh this looks like an ink job! Good detail on the trademark Viney guns!
  7. Walked out to go home with a year to go on his contract, buyer beware.
  8. Wow that's crap, supposed to the future. That's not so futuristic.
  9. Thanks Deelightful! Will try and get some happening!

I give him some wriggle room Rjay purely because he would need an opposition defender if even in half decent condition. He would need to be able to contribute something of course but if he's at least got some capacity then there won't be as much laying into Brown from the other side.

For sure Nasher. I probably meant it more for if he features at some point this finals series, I definitely wouldn't be picking him this week.

Very true, think Mariano Rivera was one of the last ones.
  13. The truth is that Collingwood are not early in their rebuild at all. There are some good young players for sure but there are still some serious holes being papered over by experienced stars in their twilight years and riding the wave of momentum and a game style that is paying dividends for now.

That's it. It's really a week by week proposition at the moment.
  15. Yeah that is a a bit disappointing. Would have been good to know as I'm not likely to be able to make any sessions during the week. Hopefully if we get the week off there will be some kind of hit out on the weekend off.
  16. You want 80,000? Then get on board

What percentage of T-mac's best is worth having back in the team? I'm landing on 72%
  18. His Interview with SEN last week was weak as you know what. Saying that Petty came over to him at 3QT and he was kind of surprised and trying to remember what he might have said. The next minute we're hearing reports that he was provoked and the victim or slurs that were just as terrible as what was said to Petty. I'm sorry, but if you said something out of severe hurt from waht came in your direction, you KNOW what it was at 3QT that you said and you don't look all sheepish about it either. Disappointing the way this has all gone down.
  19. Couldn't agree more, the space that was there won't be come finals. Some teams will get a shock.
  20. We know about Sydney's small forward threats but I'm thinking in order for the Swans to win they will need to find a tall marking presence who can clunk a few. Sam Reid was this man in Round 12 with 5 marks and 2 inside 50. Granted there was no May last time but do you guys also feel we need to be wary of this threat? My attitude is that their smalls are going to score on us, that's fact, but the punch that gets you is often the one you don't see coming especially in finals.
  21. That's great Queanbeyan Demon that you follow all ex Demons, it is. Shouldn't have jumped the gun there, I personally don't and I'm not sure I'm in the minority there on 'Land either. I and a lot of others are mainly about the now but I don't begrudge anyone who isn't like that.
  22. Like your style mate! Are you much of an ink sketcher? I'm pretty amature but did the Inktober challenge last year and triued sketching a few of our iconic premiership photos!
  23. Haha 'suds'
  24. Hope it went well today, been off DL and any Footy related stuff today. Big few weeks ahead and need a recharge and some time put into other areas. Very easy to forget but there is indeed a world out there other then footy.
