Does Kade make the grade, or will it be Chandlermonium
layzie replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
I want it to be Chandlermonium so bad just for the name. -
Do they have a peach and mango flavour? Since Ski went off the shelves there has been a serious void for this flavour of yoghurt in the market.

The question is: why so long between 'drinks'?

Well they think they have!

Choco Williams is the New Goal Kicking Coach
layzie replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
That could be one of the reasons he's usually good for a big time goal outside 50 whereas inside 30 it's more about guiding it through. -
We need the 'next man up' mentality again when it comes to selection. Youngsters need to feel like they are actually pushing for selection with their Casey performances and not being consistently overlooked. Bring back the start of 21 when Choco ripped up the birth certificates.

Gee wiz, I guess it really does come in threes.. That's horrible, hopefully past the worst and only red and blue confetti at the G in September to look forward to!

Yeah running would be my preference. Used to do a lot of sprint training but I've had a few soft tissue injuries in recent times so it's been a while since I've really opened up on the track.

Whenever Brad Johnson is on TV.

That crowd last year was pretty awful, really surprising.

Ah Cricket! Did not know that about you. I'd love to play a bit of flag football I reckon. Play indoor soccer every now and then but would be good to get outside.

Agree, still dropping it a bit high. The straighter line run up is an improvement though. -
Because they've won the lottery of life being Hawthorn fans. They grew up with an entitled sense that flags were things that just happened. That entitlement isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's great to be part of a winning organisation. However the truth is that they honestly don't know what it means to struggle as an AFL fan, they don't understand what it feels like to chase a single flag in your lifetime like some kind of Moby Dick. For most Hawks fans I know, this 8 year flag drought is even too much for them. It's not even worth worrying about at the end of the day, not all footy fans are created equal.

You didn't have a go Macca? Would have been right up your alley! Correct me if I'm wrong but you're predominately a footy/soccer player?

Luci is back! Hope you had a good Xmas and new year LH 😀 Location wise I love the idea. It's not that far from the precinct and very accessible by car or public transport. Building and planning wise I do wonder how many difficult obstacles like that there would be. I'd have to look into it a bit more, realistically how much of that land would we need for a base?

Real catch 22. Having a bunch of athletes running around for 2 hours brings severe fatigue contrast with the old days when Plugger on a lead was the most running he did all day. Transitioning to the full time professional era has played a part too. More time back then to do the extra hours of practice in front of goal, and I think that has to be said. It was A LOT of extra hours that these guys put in. With all the fitness work and meetings these guys have it is a bit hard to fit it in. I don't know what the answer is but I'm convinced it's a perfect storm and not a magic bullet reason. -
Yeah I'm thinking Turner will take it now.

After watching highlights of Mahomes again in this game I don't think it was quite the world beater performance that I did at the time but still gutsy and everything you ask for. His second half was excellent and battling back from the knock was a great story, going 13 from 14 attempts for 93 yards had a lot of dink and dunk but again, he executed when it mattered. As for MVP, he probably has to be. I never thought the MVP could go to a losing side but apparently it happened once in the early days. Hurts was brilliant but was he good enough to be the second losing MVP ever? The other case could be made for Toney, his 2 big plays really mattered but then you'd have an MVP winner who had a line in the box score that read 1 Rec 5 yards 1 TD 2 Punt returns 77 yards. I'd say Mahomes gets it by default but interested to hear your thoughts.
