Come Whatever MAY
I wouls prefer a good spray to more attitudes, behaviours and learnings.

A loss to Carlton ...
... is on the cards.

Goody Presser (27/6)
My concern with such smothers is that players are coached to crunch into the kicker's leg; especially when the player has knee history.

Alan Richardson
The people who run the Saints are guilty of myriad footy club sins. Committee shenanigans are in their DNA. (Even more than us.)
-
Alan Richardson
Get him on board. He clearly knows footy.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Footy chat has been suggesting we have been heavily into Langdon for a while now. In with a shot at least. Got a bit of a Hibberd feel to it.
-
Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
Viney is possibly our most important player. He reminds me of the quote about Brett Kirk: "Can't kick, can't handball, can't mark, gun."

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Not that Frosty and freewheeling are comfortable bedfellows.
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
With May able to lock down the marking threats, Frosty is able to freewheel.

Mid-season Coaching Revamp
We won because of the coaching changes. Nothing surer. 100%. It's science.

PREGAME: Rd 14 vs Fremantle
Tonight's outs make stuff all difference. Freo was winning yesterday and is still winning tonight.

Dees Confirm Chase for Arsenal Fitness Guru
Dunno anything about Misson's job, dunno anything about Burgess, dunno anything about what fitness people do, dunno anything about any fitness person compared with all the other clubs, cricket, soccer, gridiron, ice hockey, hockey, curling, League, Yawnion. Dunno.

Fans Behaving Badly?
I'm tipping that 99% of the time there is one stand out common denominator.
-
Lowest Inside 50 Scoring Rate EVER
The worst thing about that dismal percentage is that it was predictable. In the last two years we have broken down offensively against the better defences, so it was only a matter of time until the lesser defences caught on. Chuck in our injury and operation ravaged offseason and we had no chance to work on some variations. Presuming we wanted to work on some variations.

Alex Keath
Has Keath suddenly become a six foot line-breaking speedster with elite precision kicking?
-
Key forwards - let's go shopping!
Second half. 4.10 to 9 straight. And why? Because we don't have the forward craft to execute a full press and then score, whilr Collingwood bust us open for sitters.

Dollarland$
So, Marvel is better than Wembley, Fenway Park, Nou Camp, San Siro, Bernabeu, the new Spurs stadium, and even the MCG, among manu others which don't readily leap to mind. Was this poll commissoned by the owners of the Marvel Universe?

Opposition Accuracy is Killing Us
The best example is the StKilda game. In 2019 the Saints have kicked 115 -122 , yet against us they kicked 15-5, mostly because the kept strolling in for sitters after burning us with our turnovers.
-
Opposition Accuracy is Killing Us
Our poor defence earlier this year allowed our opponents to kick easy goals. It's not as if we have been torched by miracle goals, or even flukey goals. And when sides bust us open after a turnover, they are also kicking easy goals.

Key forwards - let's go shopping!
May.

Carlton Sack Brendon Bolton
You don't want a bull moose personality as an assistant. Bolton would bring heaps of IP.
-
Time to go Oscar!
I'm with you. last year Oscar looked as if he was developing into a reliable tall defender, but this year, when he is not being outmarked, he is falling over.
-
Carlton Sack Brendon Bolton
Get Bolton to the Dees. We need some new ideas in the footy department, and Bolton knows Clarko Footy.
