  1. From someone whose parents were Irish, well said Tarzan16 As Ted Whitten would have said "Stick it up 'em, Jimmy"
  2. A little birdie told me its not MM but CC Could it be Cameron Cloke?
  3. when working off the summary page, it is no longer keeping track of last-viewed details, taking me top of thread each time most annoying
  4. hard to tell.... if he just slowed down a little it'd be easier to say
  5. spot-on, in a nut-shell! it was just an off-season, publicity-seeking Sheedy stunt.....I think
  6. I'll promise not to say naughty things about the Aints if they promise to put me up in a nice dockside apartment for 6 months. See, I'm not unreasonable.
  7. Hereinafter to be referred to ONLY as "FN32" or if you'd prefer "effin32". No exceptions please.
  8. Speed cameras will do that to you . . . . but unrecognizable? We need a gorilla to stand in for Chip.
  9. Told you all we needed a 2nd genuine KPD. Now we are exposed, lets hope its only for 3-4 games and we can cover at least adequately during this time Bummer
  10. Well lets hope it settles down soon and you can have a sleep-in! You've had a tough time (been there), so thanks from all. Losing a few days of posts in the off season is probably a good thing. Maybe we can make it an annual off-season thing. Sort of a purgative.
  11. Wow! Sounds like the database got torn right off the bone.
  12. I've heard this from a number of sources and I find it hard to believe I think its an urban myth, generated by filth fans to portray their players as superhuman He might well have had a pec strain, but torn clean off the bone prior to the game? I don't think so
  13. No mention of Howe? I'm hopeful of big things from him
  14. Gotta agree with most of the above, esp the swans game The win against Essenscum should have been a highlight We powered away from them for 3 quarters with high scoring and quick ball movement and looked set to score a crushing victory, something we hadn't been able to do for a few years. Everything was looking good. but it was somewhat ruined because Essenscum played so obviously bad early on giving away frees and 50ms continuously and then in the last quarter we slowed right up and let them in for 5 out of the last 6 goals (or something like that). Was still a good win and I'll take the points any time but those two things kinda took the edge of it
  15. What's your dealer's phone number?
  16. Sorry fu I just can't help myself. You'll have to fixup your nickname You can take consolation in that the spelling error is common and the correct version is not intuitive Fuchsia (pronounced /ˈfjuːʃə/ FEW-shə) is a vivid reddish or pinkish purple color named after the flower of the fuchsia plant. Fuchsia is a synonym for magenta. There is also a somewhat redder and slightly less saturated hue termed fashion fuchsia (see below) that is used in women's fashion (it is also called Hollywood cerise). The first recorded use of fuchsia as a color name in English was in 1892.[1] Before 1958, the color magenta was called brilliant rose in Crayola crayons. (See the website "Lost Crayola Crayon Colors": [1]) After 1958, the name of the color was changed to Magenta, though the Crayola color magenta is not identical to the web color fuchsia--it is much closer to the color Rose
  17. and who said there was no art to bullshyte?

  19. Congratulations to deee-eee for the first Demonland post for 20111
  20. And when it's not Jurrah it will be Howe - I can't wait
  21. Of course thats what logic says. I was just trying to cheer up old dee
  22. Lets hope Sheedy stays there at least another 2 years. Enough to scare away a few players I'd think
  23. According to your profile your age is unknown If you don't remember your own age you must be pretty old If it makes you feel better it "could" be as early as 2012, but I'd think we'd give it a shake in 2013
  24. guess everyone is roughly in agreement, just expressing it from different directions the key seems to be to create a good environment where the players feel they belong and are a good chance for a flag that will minimise the risk but not totally remove it
  25. MELBOURNE FC - Since 1858 - An Illustrated History Selling at a discounted price at the Demon Shop
