Who are the highly rated juniors that haven't lived up to their promise for whatever reason (not on the MFC list) that can be targetted. A couple of recent examples would be Dom Tyson and Jared Polec. Gary Rohan would have been another, his stocks will have risen significantly tonight.

Was bagged out about Rohan above. Has done ok in a prelim.

Spoil sport, I wanted to try and match wits with the elite. Now I'll just have to play with these plebs.

For the record, I picked Kirk as the man as soon as Roos was elected.However, I am starting to think our rise will happen rather quickly, and as soon as Roos gets a sniff of a finals campaign, he will find it hard to pass the team over to Kirk.

Interesting stuff. Did a bit of reading on Patrice Lumumba and it a fascinating story. After looking at some photographs of the two I am not sure if I notice a resemblance or my mind is playing tricks.

Danger doesn't have a year to run. He is out of contract. He is a FA net year.

I think that is probably about right. But you just never know what will fall out of the tree. We really have nothing to lose and a fair bit to gain by having a go.

It is a legitimate concern. I don't know how far he can kick. If you are going to play most of your footy on the outside then you need to be at a high level in speed, endurance and kicking. All of the nice outside runners that we have recruited over the last 5 years have been missing one of these crucial ingredients. The top end of the draft is not the place to draft "incomplete" players.

I am sure with a full pre-season next year he will take it out.

Added a lot of muscle to his frame too almost immediately. I would also be looking very closely at PAs fitness program. They are doing something very right in this area.
