  1. in control but wasting opportunities
  2. Need to attack relentlessly in the last, control the space and kick goals.
  3. Not really fair on Noble given the task he has taken on, I hope he was very clear upfront on what was going to happen after their purge and the board stick with their plan. Though to be honest its a crap plan and does not work in the modern AFL work, as we are the perfect case study of it. It simply destroys the culture of the playing group and they forget how to win, eventually it destroys player potential.
  4. They'll keep good Friday if they get a crowd (& TV), the score isn't as important. but like when people were talking about taking Queens birthday off us, we always got a good crowd even when crap. There is also the another game on the same day now, so it is not the only focus, which will help them retain it. In saying all that, a crowd of 28k is not good for a public holiday Friday.
  5. might change with brassie covid?
  6. Bruce almost doubled Roos total score by himself.
  7. Roo's starting competitive, doubt it will last
  8. Wont last the season, even with his resigning this year. Its only a 6 month payout for coaches now. At the moment they look like us at our worst against the dockers! No heart in the club, it ran on pure talent but no care for each other. They lost a core of their talent and it shows. a crap culture has been installed into the club and will take ages to fix, as they will continue to loss good players with efforts like this.
  9. Been a few great weeks for the Dee's teams (women powering on), a positive start to the year. The team seems more mature, so hopefully the work over the summer on leadership and taking the swings in our effort out is starting to show and the team is enforcing standards between themselves. fingers crossed.
  10. Except for the skill errors, far better than last week as a team effort and movement
  11. Can we say picket has arrived?
  12. Yay Fritsch, got one
  13. skills errors! really hurting us
  14. without those bloody skill errors we'd be doing even better. But they are running really well as a team... got to sustain it.
  15. We have a good first week of finals, it'll be at home as I understand. hopefully we get Freo, as they have been found out by the better teams this year.
  16. of coarse he is..
  17. thats bad luck, but it solves one of the midfield questions for this week.
  18. Great game to watch them live, first time too, as the last time they came to Perth I was elsewhere. They stuffed a few things and didn't play smart going into the 50 the last time, should have played it dead into the pocket not centre it. Though till the runner incident it was okay. We (demon supporters) at the ground were a bit disappointed as the team didn't come over and say hi to their supporters after the match (even from a distance from the fence), or even sing the song in that part of the ground. The men would have come over. Maybe they don't think of things like that yet? Lastly after most the ground was going, the Freo PA was blaring saying how wellthe freo girls play and don't worry they be having finals in freo and keep supporting them. etc, really weird. Never heard that before at any afl match. Great day and a stressful last minute as we obviously didn't know exactly how much time was left.
