  1. They are also training up at Joondalup HBF arena yesterday, so I say they re splitting the venues including going to Optus when allowed.
  2. Honestly if we win I wouldn't care, it could be Donald Duck and I'd still be cheering mad... Most likely Garry Lyon since he is here in the west and the most high profile. There are a few of the old premiership players living in WA but they aren the most famous :)
  3. yeah, we normally park over in East Perth and walk, which is also nice and less cramped.
  4. No idea, never been to a GF. Most likely double check my tickets for the next 2 weeks (Its my tiny OCD for things like that, i.e. plane tickets), work out the best way to get to the game, go early, pray to god and my fellow supporters we win!
  5. Sadly yes it was. Congratulations. We would have been the first for our club too, our other girls lost their 9/10 GF by 2 points. But very proud of my team, they won 1 game last year to make a GF this year. What did you guys think of playing on the big oval which I normally for yr 9/10. Taking nothing away from Duncraig, it disadvantaged the way my team played. We rely on a running/ground contest game being a short side. It was just too far for our girls. Our full back normal clears to the centre on kick in, she was only making the 50 mtr mark. hence the girls were buggered from the extra running.
  6. Just quoting myself. Thank you for the follow demonlanders as I have P1 tickets I need for my family to sit together. Not sure if i can name them, they are the best and know who they are. For my P2 barcodes I have contacted the WesternDemons supporters group here in Perth, which I belong to see if we have members in that group that need a ticket. Just waiting on a response if they need them.
  7. We have 12,000 tickets allocated. I doubt there are 12,000 P1 holders. Normally about 500 WA demons at games normally and many of those are members. So you would think P1 and P2 will be good as we get first say on the tickets (After AFL members today). Not sure how many AFL members in WA, I doubt there would be many.
  8. HI I am after 2 more P1 tickets so the family (4 in total) can sit together, thank you to the person who gave me 1. I will pass on my P2 tickets to other demon supporters in WA. Pm if you can help. (Yes we are all massive lifetime supporters of the Dee's, except for 1 daughter but she's not going!) Plus my local team I coach lost the GF today, need a cheer up (me on the right end) .
  9. sorry already answered
  10. GF tickets are 1:1 only. which Is good I think we more chance for members to get seats for ourselves.
  11. Caught the game a bit later. Port put on the most pitiful effort except for about 10 minutes at the start of the 3rd. The skill errors were non-stop and they couldn't handle the pressure. Except for beating the dogs in rd23, they have been poor against good pressure sides all year and it showed tonight. Dogs are a big danger, would have liked to have played them next week with a rest for them. Given how poor PS were, its hard to get a clear red on the dogs. Our team should have done their homework like they have done for the last 2 contenders.
  12. Watch the Kayo recording of the game for all commentary I missed being at the ground. Then focus on getting good seats, then not thinking too much, then ad thr game gets closer more excited and nervous, slap heard the dees considering st least 1 open training session. Hopefully up my way at Joondalup arena.
  13. We made the granny. So the wife and I talked on the way home from the game. We have 1 GFG membership and the remaining 5 are priority 2. We decided it did not matter if I don't sit with the family, as I buy mine at 9am and theirs at 11am. (I'm not taking the risk of missing a seat and they understand, plus with 12,000 allocation all WA members should get a seat) We'll still be there at a grand final with the Dee's in it. (But if anyone has 4 GFG they want to provide, I'll pass on my 5 priority 2 memberships to someone else, otherwise we go with plan A, if I can't get 4 it won't matter as we can it split the kids up, too young, PM if viable)
  14. May will be fine, its 15 days away and he went back on, before the game was in hand and they took him off. Depends on our opponent, Smith the only change but neither side are really tall like Geelong.
  15. What can I say bring the grand final.... Just got home from the game and it was great. Great team effort all night. The best thing was sitting back and enjoying the last 1/5 qtrs as we had the game easily in hand. Go Dees...
  16. Great first qtr…. Lots of pressure and spread when we have the ball. Looking good.
  17. Let’s go boys!!!!
  18. Ready to go…. IMG_2331.HEIC
  19. Super nervous and excited, what could be worse if its like the 3rd qtr of the rd 23, I can't pause walk away for a bit and then comeback. But me and the family are heading in at 3.30pm to get in early and enjoy the build up at the ground. I'll see if there are any badges left to grab from our stand.
  20. But he won one. But the psychological games are interesting. Plus we were near the end of our physical effort by the PF in 2018, WC were fresh off the break and on a tough home deck.
  21. Maybe organising a pick swap to maximise members/supporters going. Getting GFG to paid up WA members who then pass on their priority 2 barcodes to others who support but not members. Win/win for everyone.
  22. yes, just depends on your time constraints :)
  23. Just at Joondalup and saw the dees having a training run at HBF arena. Looking good.
  24. Its great we get first preference over the second team. My worry (Besides the bloody cost!) is I have 1 GFG tickets and 5 priority 2 tickets in the immediate family (family membership). If I get more than my GFG 1 ticket, how do we get to sit together as the others being my kids 12,9 and maybe the wife (not a footy person)? Do they release all the tickets together that have been allocated? Update: Spoke to the club, they expect 12,000 tickets to be allocated to us. I would need to wait for 11am and hope their are seats left for me to buy with my kids if we allocated some. Which is no ideal as I fear I may miss out on even 1 seat. So if we win, if anyone in lockdown have spare GFG that they cannot use maybe contact me to chat about it over the weekend. (Also the conversation in our house is how much we will pay for the kids to go at the listed prices for category 1)
  25. Rankine is the type of player that would thrive in a strong team as a bit/impact player. What is required of him at GC is above his mental agility at the moment.
