Where will we play the Lions?
Been discussing the same thing from WA with a long-distance membership (Though with 6 of us having a membership that gives me slightly better odds). Should I buy a GF package now instead of relying on getting a GF by lottery I assume if we make it?

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Western Bulldogs
Salem above anyone, we missed him a lot today, hurt our transition forward, shows how important he is for us. Jetta, is only up to a lockdown role, not suitable for what the team needs. Melks started well, I assume he got a kick up the backside after being dropped, but then drop off and was almost unsighted on tv at least for the rest of the game. Weid is a hard one, today our mid's did not find the space(workmate) for good delivery over the game. The concern is the quick movement that we had to work against is the dog's game. However plays next week this is a reminder to the expectation needed to stay in the team.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Pretty much sums it up. Crows played really well and they are not the crap team of the first few weeks. But gee that non-deliberate in the last 40sec was a howler but he umpires after the one from spargo, hopefully its raised by the club for "clarification" for future games.

Reward the Ball Winner or Tackler
Depends if we have the ball or are the tackler :) crackdown on throws and just dropping it.

The Significance of 9 Wins in a Row
Top 8 as present, end of last round.

CHANGES: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
Its getting hard and that is great for the team. I'd give Chandler another week, as he didn't adjust to the pace compared to others, but when was his last AFL game? Weid, what I saw on TV I liked, but its a limited view of his game. He' coming from being the key fwd in the VFL to fit into a different system, that would take time, they need to play togethor more. The wet didn't help, but his 2nd efforts were good.

The Significance of 9 Wins in a Row
Despite all the hoo-har, it only means we are playing consistent footy. That is the significant part. A more interesting stat from the first crack last night was the win's ladder vs top 8 teams. We sit on top of that with the best percentage, for example Port have only beaton 1 top 8 team, etc. More of an indication of where we really sit. I expect our fwd line with the recent changes to take another game or two to settle, but its varied enough to keep opposition teams off balance throughout a game.

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Carlton
Good consistent team effort, chasing down players without giving up. The fwd line needs more work for the two new players to get into the system. They were getting in each others ways today, more talk. Would have liked to reach 100 points.

Clubs Walking a Few Metres in Our Shoes
No I don't think he will be there that long. Hardwick, till they sacked all his assistants and started again he had an average record, rest is history. Fingers crossed that's the epoch change just happened at the Dee's.

Clubs Walking a Few Metres in Our Shoes
I would disagree on one point, yes Clarkson was lucky, all coaches are either lucky or unlucky depending on their squad during their tenure. But if you know his history he was driven to succeed in that role. I think he would have taken any team to a GF given the time and development to do so. He managed to build sustained success using all the tools a club can in the comp. whether people think its fair or not.

The Weid is Back!
Great news, what I am looking for is his ability to consistently replicate his VFL form at AFL level, if he does, he'll be there all year. Hopefully there was been lots of fwd synergy work going on at training for the three of them.

Christian Petracca's move into middle strikes gold
Really good article to read. Like already been stated, the work of those two are great in all their articles. He's only reaching towards his peak now!

AFLW Off-season List changes
Apparently demanding $150,000 a year from Carlton. $30k for playing and they are currently employed her on about $80k at the club. But she is not consistent, very hot and cold, seems more focussed on her boxing and overall profile?

Typically, bought him in to replace Dunkley in my fantasy footy this week!

The tigers were far more intense at the opening of our game than tonights. We broke them, the dogs didn't in a far less tense game and simply grounded them down in the tigers fashion.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
He's coming on nicely, his marking was great under pressure tonight with the wet conditions. What impresses me masts his recovery even when going to ground, amazing agility.

Their best stars are getting old, not that has slowed down the cats either. We'll see a mini-rebuild soon to sustain them. Their massive home grand advantage almost ensures they play finals every year. Look at last year, couldn't win a game in the hub but still made finals after regrouping.

NON MFC: Rd 06 2021
You can only play who your fixtures against. We have Beaton sides that have Beaton more fancied sides that what we are. My concern for team development is winning is a habit. We have shown we pushed we can steady and pull away from sides.

NON MFC: Rd 06 2021
Looks like its going to be more than that. Gaff run down by Rohan, all the run and pressure with cats.

McGovern done with a groin injury, could get really ugly now. Sun v Swans game is not a good standard, too many injuries for the swans. Can't see swans doing a come back at all.
