Nuggets' Music Videos
Still have my turntable from 1981 although finding a replacement stylus is becoming harder. Found a joint in Sydney that still stocks them. Agree on the cost of vinyl these days. My daughter has become a vinyl fan in recent years- she's lucky to find an album under 50 bucks ! She's also a fan of a lot of "my" generations music to the point that the sounds coming from her room sound a lot like mine in 1977. She's also liberated a fair few from her aunties who were divesting themselves of their record collections. For the past few years I've had a weekly catch-up with a few mates. Armed with guitars & suchlike we set about playing (slaughtering) a range of songs from classic to obscure. During restrictions we've substituted this with a Zoom meeting and decided that seeing we couldn't play, we'd do album reviews. While that has been great fun, we all agree that despite the accessibility advantages of Spotify, the experience of listening to an album was better when you had the record sleeve to peruse as you listened. Especially if it contained the lyrics.

Another Season for Mitch Brown
and you missed the one where he got poleaxed putting his body on the line. He's cheap, experienced insurance. If we have a good year he doesn't play a game. That doesn't make signing him a bad thing

Had to laugh at Kennett imploring Smith & Gunston to be "one club players". They pinched Gunston from Adelaide.

Trade Harmes?
Couldn't agree more. No matter who we trade in or out, Melksham's position is critical to our forward line success or failure. He has to involve himself when he hasn't got the ball. He has to defend & he has to tackle aggressively. He has given me the "Con Britts" like no other player this year an have felt he should have been dropped as his lack of effort set a poor example. The dilemma is that, forward of centre, I don't know that I'd prefer the ball in anyone else's hands. I'd love Harmes to replace him in that role but unfortunately, Chompers is neither smart not skilled enough.

How about @Macca as competition head honcho, you nominate a sub. Like in the daily double. So if one of my tips is scratched and I'm unaware & don't adjust my initial tips, I get the sub tip that you nominated.

Logistics & supply issues. Not sure that we as a nation have sufficient stocks of weed & handguns to pull this off

Jack Viney Restricted Free Agent
Not sure but I would think hat like many there would be a delay due to : Uncertainty over cap size Uncertainty over list size Most of them have buggered off on holiday all over Queensland as there's no real incentive to return to Melbourne in lockdown

Farewell Oscar McDonald
Oscar is neither as good as a few make out nor as bad as many make out. He has deficiencies but can come in and do a defensive job and if selected ahead of Tomlinson, can run a zone, allowing May & Lever to do their thing. His bad games have usually come when the team defence as a whole collapses and he becomes a convenient scapegoat. If he stays he's good injury coverage. If he leaves I won't be overly fussed. The thought of reading a Hawthorn backline of Frost, Frawley & Omac does provide some amusement though.

Titans, Bucs, Chiefs A bit bloody early in the season for a round this tough. I haven't had to drag this out for a while but the air went out of our balloon on the weekend. Again, a bit bloody early in the season but :

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
Might be a case of the club not knowing how big the pot is and how much they can offer. Can't recall too many re-signings by any club in recent months
