AFLW Contracts and list details
Layla Ebert has got another year. I thought she showed a fair bit as a small defender this season and has also shown enough to suggest there's a fair bit of scope to develop further. Won't make headlines but a really good signing.

W Awards 2025, Monday 24th November, 8.30pm
Given the standard of umpiring in the AFLW, it would be highly optimistic to expect their vote giving to be any more fathomable than their on ground decision making. For mine, umpiring is the number one issue the AFLW has to address. Despite the best efforts of the players and coaches, the umpiring is too often turning games into a farce

One of the better wins I can recall. Watched it again, which changed my initial votes. At half time with the Crows having the ascendancy across the ground and on the scoreboard courtesy of three horrid umpiring decisions, the girls could be forgiven for feeling as flat as a nightman's hat. The tide had to be turned in the first five minutes of the third quarter and I thought Heath and Harris in particular led the charge, both really imposing themselves on the game. 6. Hore 5. Heath 4. Gillard 3. Fitzsimon 2. Goldrick 1. Harris Really wanted to give a vote to The Spoon who is surely approaching cult figure status but Goldie and Fitz's contributions across four quarters nudged her out.- NFL

With every passing week the loss of Purcell is more keenly felt. We're getting smashed in the midfield and getting little from the outside runners.- NFL

Not that I bet these days but if I still punted, I think Pinstriped, a horse part owned by Demonland's very own @Redleg is an appealing each way investment today. Gamble responsibly 🐎- NFL

I understand he had a US training camp planned with some Dees team mates and at least one non MFC player. This was in train before the infamous meeting. Anyone's guess as to whether he proceeds with the camp but it was self funded so he might drop a few bucks if he bails.- AFLW Injury List 2025
Heater, Lamps, Radar (in this season's form) and BMac make us better. Getting them back with few rounds before finals could be really significant.- NFL
