For two main reasons: first if we trade for him we retain the first pick to use on another player and/or as trump value for another trade and second because while hopefully more ruthless than in the past, I don't believe the club wants to "burn" other clubs.

I think he was treated badly in not getting the chances I thought he deserved. He was often the first one dragged and played mainly in that ball magnet position of permanent forward pocket. In my opinion Armstrong was much better than OK on the weekend. He was very good. I am not saying he is the next Judd and he probably didn't ask for a gold watch either, he actually got a gold premiership medallion, lucky as he probably was.

I am not saying we target these two nor suggesting that we get rid of Brad. I am only throwing up the hypothetical scenario.

What would be the attitude if the Dockers went after him knowing that we are after Warnock. There are a few other Dockers looking to the East I believe. Names of Mundy and Murphy have been mentioned. Could a trade be arranged for a few Dockers or swapping of picks? This would leave us with our PSD pick intact and more players to target.

Maybe the endorsement of the chiefs of the AFL and MCC and the positive publicity about the debt reduction, Casey situation and the harder recruiting attitude.
