  1. Jordan Lewis singled out Cameron Bruce in his acceptance speech last night for his improvement this year. Article on the AFL site
  2. Russell Holmesby makes a REALLY interesting comment in this week' s edition of Inside Football!!!! Perhaps Chris Connolly needs to join Schwab!!! How has the List Manager escaped !!! The trio who stuffed the MFC!!!
  3. Deestroy All Your comments show you really are a FOOL! How embarrassed you must be!!!
  4. Yep! Absolute Hack! One B&F Two Runners Up Top ten for ten years in a row in B&F Until Bailey in 2008 more goals than games played. Mugs like Buckley, Hird, Johnson rated him as their toughest opponent. Hell we have replaced him with Byrnes, Rodan etc. All sensational models for our young players. A real win for us! We have also lost those hacks Junior and Greeney! Carlton wanted Greeneys' Knowledge! The Giants wanted Juniors! The Hawks wanted Bruces! Melbourne are bursting with senior models?? Yes! The club really made the right choices!!!
  5. Where is Bruce now? In the Coaches Box at Hawthorn!!! Has been since he retired. You would think he must have something to offer!!!
  6. Correct! Bruce left for less money and no guarantees at Hawthorn. I have it on good authority he left because of Schwab and Connolly. He saw the writing on the wall!!
  7. Dee-luded is a very apt username for you. Bruce certainly was not moved out. He was offered and chose not to accept the contract . As a matter of principle he chose to leave Melbourne for a contract at another club less than half of what Melbourne offered. Perhaps he saw early the lack of cohesion in the football department.
  8. There is no doubt the "new professionalism" that has seen the Melbourne Football Club embark on a total youth policy at the expense of older servants will have huge repercussions in the future. Loyalty is a two way street and the current players will be well aware they need to look after their best interests as the club does. Would you change jobs for 6 Million Dollars?
  9. Goodness me ! What an astute observation!! How long did you cogitate over that? He is three years older than he was in 2008!! Amazing!!
  10. Yes. Slipped to 6th. in 2007 too.. BUT 1st in 2008, 3rd in 2009. What is your point? Just another observation!!
  11. YES Great Post!!! Brad Green ,less than one year younger was not in the right age bracket.
  12. Mercenary?? He is going for less money and the same security Melbourne offered! Bruce's parents went to China to watch the game. Why would they go if was not going togo? There is obviously more to what has been published. Neither the club or Bruce himself have bagged each other. McLean and johnson were bagged by the players etc. Bruce has had many messages of support from players and the Board. No-one from the club has publicly bagged Bruce. Bruce has said he felt he had more opportunity elswhere. The club has said they are sorry he has gone. Everything else is conjecture. Actually a win win .
  13. All these posts and all anyone can get from all of them is Posters are [censored] off Bruce has left! Only the club and Bruce know the real reasons. Neither has bagged each other about the decision. Obviously the club has its policy. Bruce felt he had better opportunities elswhere. The club held its stance and so it should! Bruce felt he could be better off elswhere. Good luck to both. Bruce is no certainty for glory! The melbourne football club is not certain of its policy. Only time will tell. However The number of posts bagging Bruce REALLY tell how upset the posters are that an agreement could not be found! SAD!!!! REALLY!!!
