Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Clarry is going nowhere. He is my pre post favourite to win our next B & F.

I basically donโt accept anything in trade week as gospel until proved or it happens. Accusations are easy, retractions harder.

That last bit that we have been pushing him out, if in fact he said it, is pathetic.

The List Manager Tim Lamb
This is probably nitpicking, but can we please use another word/phrase than โdeadโ to me. Especially in these times we can use another description.

Training Ground?
Agree but they were still mentioned at the time.

The List Manager Tim Lamb
You mean by giving him the chance to play AFL, which no other club did in his National Draft year including Freo, welcomed him in, looked after him, paid him, Coached and developed him in a team of premiership players, offered him a new contract and agreed to amend it several times, while believing his word he would recommit and gave him the time to do so, until he told then he wouldnโt. We have basically given him a chance to get poached at lucrative money, that he wouldnโt have if we never gave him that chance in the first place. Yes we were horrible to him. Gratitude doesnโt exist, does it?

And a player rated in the top 10 players of those mentioned as possible trades this trade period. Yes pick 11 is the start and maybe the finish too, or a player we all like and value, can go home but to WC.

An even better call was my posting while Clark was playing in the VFL for the Cats and before leaving was even mentioned, that we should go after him. The exact same scenario happened for Bolton, Treacy and Meek existed when I also posted often about them. I donโt write this to show that I am brilliant, which of course I am, but rather to highlight the disappointment I have, that we got none of them. I donโt need the excuses about each player as I already know them, but the disappointment is still there anyway. Apparently we never even tried to get any of them. That is disappointing to me. Given the players we have traded in in the same period, it is more disappointing. Anyway hereโs hoping we get a few good ones this off season.

Training Ground?
Chris Judd says hi. Having the worst facilities in the AFL actually hinders your recruitment. If itโs us or them that can be a tipping point.

Training Ground?
Maybe the ground has changed itโs mind and now wants to be the Dockers new Training ground.

Training Ground?
This needs to get announced very soon, as it will assist with Trading in players.

I think we should be telling Freo we get overs, or we start talking to WC about a deal to walk Judd to the PSD.

We wonโt be going for Cox as he is A Must To Avoid.

Acres kicked the goal, but you were right on what happened, except you forgot to mention that Viney caused it, by kicking a horrible short kick straight to Weitering, that led to the Judd contest which he misjudged and then the pass to two Blues on Fritta. Had Viney kicked it anywhere else, even out on the full, we win.

May doesnโt want to go, it came from the club.

I did say possible not probable and it is possible. I just find it hard to believe that so many people, including club officials, have been lied to all year by a player. There is no need to do that and then of course you need those Officials to trade you. It would be so simple to say he will decide at the end of the season and then see what he is offered from here and back home and then decide. That is the usual way it is done and I don't see any reason he would have departed from that method. I believe he was going to stay, maybe as suggested broke up with the girlfriend and then got a big offer from back home recently and decided to accept it. To me that is the most likely and logical scenario. Good luck to him wherever he plays, I just want to make sure we are properly compensated and not shafted.

With Answerth and Dodee back next year and maybe only Starcevich leaving from his position and with money needed for Draper and Allen, he could be a chance if he wants a better contract. Not too many are leaving there though.

Matthew Johnson could be ok. Are Aiden Riddle or Cooper Simpson players we could look at?

I still think it is possible he signed the contract, but the Manager didn't and kept it and then shopped him around and maybe didn't even tell him of a Freo offer until recently. That is an entirely possible scenario. Freo may have even told his Manager don't commit him to the Dees, until we can frame an offer at the end of the season, who knows. Judd is not necessarily lying, that is what I am saying. Why lie to King allegedly a few days ago and then need him and the club to clear him, with bad blood created? That sounds strange.

May, Lever, Langdon, Melksham, Culley, Sharp, Billings. Soon hopefully Heath, Derksen, Flanders. Maybe Mihocek.

My take might be a bit different to others. First I feel sorry for Ghosty, who is as loyal and fanatical a Dees' fan as there is. She said what she what she was told by Judd and hopefully this is the last time her name is mentioned on this thread. She posted to make us all feel better and I thank her for that and look forward to many more posts from her on other topics in the future. Now, I think Judd did sign his contract some time ago, but the Manager didn't co sign it, or hand it to the MFC, but kept it to see what was around. If I am correct, he is doing many deals with WA clubs and lives there. I think he shopped Judd around to Freo and got a very good deal and has now told Judd of the deal and Judd has decided to accept it and go home. That is not a hanging offence for a player wanting to change clubs and go home at the same time. We know the risks with interstate players. I would't be surprised if the Freo womens' team has made Lily an Offer to join them as well. This is very disappointing and especially as it is Freo who took LJ off us. Personally I agree with some posters who have said it is pick 11 only, or imo a lesser pick, plus a player we like, or walk him to the PSD to the Eagles for nothing. Is he worth pick 11, no, but it is our right to name our price. Hey Freo you want it done smoothly, then this is what it will take. This is a statement moment for a new President, CEO and Coach to stand up and be counted. This request is annoying a lot of us, but it is what is and we have to act like a big club and not get steamrolled. He is not our best player and we will go on, but we need to ensure we get what we want, or he doesn't get to Freo, end of story.

AFL Trade Radio 2025
So Suns who made their first finals and have more NGA's coming in, could get, Tracc, Elliot and JUH to add to Ben King and Walter and they are also supposedly chasing Curnow.
