TRAINING GALLERY: Wednesday 12th November 2025
Well done 6 and enjoy the retirement, spent mainly at Dees training. Adams looks taller. XL looks stronger. Would like to see Jeffo put on some more upper body muscle. Culley is a big mid. Rookie Berry nice size.

Bailey Laurie to half-back in 2026?
Canโt see that. When he was drafted he was a bit roly poly, but has really trimmed down. This will be his year to make it or not, similar to probably Jeffo, AJ and Henderson .

Training Ground?
I am now led to believe we are discussing the previous site, located on the South Eastern corner of the racecourse, close to where the ovals are hoped to be installed and very close to Glenhuntly Station. That is the area near the corner of Neerim Road and Queens Avenue. I did a very rough map measure, which I am sure is wrong, but I got about 260000 square feet or more, which is plenty of room for what we want. The Club is still working on a couple of issues, which are not insurmountable, so I look forward to the official update. We have all been very patient with this project and hopefully there is some good news soon.

AFLW: QF vs Brisbane
Harris had 2 possies after 1/4 time. Bannan has been ineffective this year. Zanker out could have been the difference. Didnโt help not having Chaplin, Purcell and Goldy as well, against a full strength Lions team.

Welcome to Demonland: Latrelle Sumner-Pickett
If we don't want to use 7 or 8 on Pickett, but really want him, we can trade up with GCF1 in a stronger draft next year. There will be plenty of clubs wanting that pick and we also have 37 to use.

AFLW: QF vs Brisbane
I think the Crowd of 3711 would have fit in at Casey. What an absolute disgrace, that the side that finished 2nd, was denied a home ground final, when it had nothing to do with capacity, but rather a broadcaster preferring another ground. That is actually beyond a disgrace, it is amateur hour.

AFLW: QF vs Brisbane
You will always struggle to win this game when you don't have Chaplin, Purcell, Zanker and Goldy and your best mids in Hanks and Fitzsimon don't have great games, Paxy is useless for 3/4 and Bannan has no impact. Then your tackles don't stick, you fumble all game and you kick for goal like the men's team. No surprises in the result.

AFLW: QF vs Brisbane
They are far tougher and cleaner. Top 12 possessions on ground 10 are Lions. We fumble and miskick too much. Losing Zanker and Chaplin and Goldy has killed us. Umpires havenโt helped.

AFLW: QF vs Brisbane
Lost our CHB before the game and FF early in the game and all goals to opposition from free kicks. We are really up against it.

Next Captain? (in a few years)
Absolutely. You just wouldnโt do it to him. A lot of media and public speaking involved and they are basically shy, quiet and reserved men.

AFLW: QF vs Brisbane
I would be quite happy for us to win with Lions not kicking a goal. Would be very happy with a boring easy win.

AFLW: QF vs Brisbane
Good to know equality and fairness only apply if a broadcaster agrees.

AFLW: QF vs Brisbane
Need to win this to make GF, as otherwise no rest and have to get past Roos in a PF.

Big Cox
Ignoring all the outrage, but how is he a good fit, when we have Max, TC, Heath and AJ and JVR to pinch hit?

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
Watts was fine, he just played in a garbage team and was given very little help.

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
Well yes, but that is my info and in the Judd case, the Blues and Visy were probably into him long before we were. I believe he had committed to Carlton months before he met with us. I am confident his grandmother would confirm that. His suggestion of considering other clubs was a charade.

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
I am starting to get a bit excited with the draft, as we have some early picks and I don't have a clue about the boys in it, nor which way JT might be leaning.

AFL Draft 2025: Picks 7 & 8
Butters will go to the Dogs if he leaves Port, with Pies also an outside chance. He was a strong Dogs supporter and family lives further out west, with the Dogs the closest AFL club.
