The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
If you are correct then I misheard. That is actually better for us. I would rather hear that from the guys involved in negotiations, than Caro.

Yes

The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
It was interesting to hear Caro say that Smith and another Director, presumably Geoff Porz, were working full time on Caulfield and she believed the deal would get done this year. Obviously โ full time โ is an exaggeration but good to hear that two Directors including the President, were involved in negotiations.

Blake Howes appreciation thread.
And I still think he is a winger/hff. Happy Birthday Blake and enjoy your footy.

TRAINING: Tuesday 7th April 2026
I might have a recording of the disappointment among the fans, if Tom wants it.

Kalani White says hi.

CASEY: Rd 03 vs Box Hill
I think that was actually closer to 9. He had a nightmare game and atm I can't see it.

Blake Howes appreciation thread.
Not just your boy Daz and I still say he would be even better wing/hff. He has had my love for a while. If we kept some of my other loves we would still have JJ and Toby, who many on DL knocked.

PREGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Agree Jeffo had the better game. I would rest Max on an interstate game most would believe we wouldn't win, as he needs a freshen up at some stage and Moose will need to be played, as that is the reason he left the Saints. BTW, I thought he was BOG for Casey on sunday.

PREGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Nathan Williamson Umpire Number 22 clearly doesn't like us. Funny incidents with him from yesterday. First, he calls a mark to Lombard and then gets overruled by an umpire further away, who saw it hit the ground, while Lombard is telling his Dees opponent to shoosh and obviously don't tell anyone it wasn't a mark. Second he refuses to review an "on the full" when Ed is pleading for him to do it and he can be heard saying "NO" on his mike and then the arc overrules him. I would love to see an analysis of his games with Melbourne. Yesterday the callers about 10 times said that a Dees free was missed and yet only said it once about the Suns. Is that just bad luck?

POSTGAME: Rd 04 vs Gold Coast
You know the saying Bin, opinions are like a---holes, everyone has one. Seriously though, if you asked him now, I bet he would have a different opinion. Exposed form changes opinions on where teams are at. BTW, I have thought we would could make finals this year, but yesterday didn't think we could beat the Suns. My opinion has changed a bit now. Injuries are going to be very important as usual.

CASEY: Rd 03 vs Box Hill
Jeffo was the best of the three as he was involved more and could have kicked 6. Kentfield received a downfield and another free that gave him 2 of his 3. Kentfield will play seniors, but Jeffo on that game was easily the best of the three named.

CASEY: Rd 03 vs Box Hill
Make it 9 goals on Adams now.
-
CASEY: Rd 03 vs Box Hill
Picket, be happy, Jeffo is playing himself back into the AFL side.
-
CASEY: Rd 03 vs Box Hill
Not certain, but think Adams' opponents have 7 goals to half time.

CASEY: Rd 03 vs Box Hill
There is absolutely no such thing as " holding the ball" in the VFL.
-
CASEY: Rd 03 vs Box Hill
Our ball handling is simply atrocious. Can't pick up the ball, pass it or receive it. Hawks should be further ahead and look a class above us atm. Max looks good on the positive side and Jeffo doing well. and could have three. Haven't seen Luker touch the ball yet.

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Gold Coast
Are you saying that Rowell, Anderson and Miller is an ordinary midfield?

GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Gold Coast
I tip someone to post that Humphrey was pathetic and didn't get a possession.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 04 vs Gold Coast
That is our big problem today. I just donโt see us getting first use of the ball often enough. Our pressure is going to have be sky high and our ball handling at its best. This will be a real test for us and our new game style.

Dees under fire regarding sensitive and personal information.
Maybe secret recordings of meetings could lead to litigation in certain circumstances depending where some people online are and then the use it was put to. Chat says: In Australia, the legality of secretly recording an online meeting depends primarily on your location and whether you are a participant in the meeting. [1, 2] State-by-State Consent Laws Australian laws regarding "listening devices" (which include smartphones and computers used for online meetings) vary by jurisdiction: [1, 2] One-Party Consent (VIC, QLD, NT): In Victoria, Queensland, and the Northern Territory, it is generally legal to record a private conversation if you are a participant in that conversation. You do not need the consent of other parties to make the recording for personal use. All-Party Consent (NSW, SA, WA, TAS, ACT): In New South Wales, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, and the ACT, it is a criminal offense to record a private conversation without the consent of all parties involved. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] Federal Law and Telecommunications The Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979 prohibits the interception of communications "passing over" a telecommunications system. [1, 2] Direct Connection: Recording a call by "direct connection" to the system (e.g., a wiretap) is a federal offense, regardless of state law. External Devices: Recording audio after it has left the speaker (e.g., using an external dictaphone or handheld recorder next to the computer) generally falls under state surveillance laws rather than the federal TIA Act. [1, 2, 3, 4] Workplace Implications Even in states where recording is legal, doing so secretly in a workplace context carries heavy risks: [1, 2] Disciplinary Action: Secretly recording a work meeting is often considered a breach of the "duty of good faith" and trust, which can be valid grounds for summary dismissal even if no crime was committed. Admissibility: Courts and the Fair Work Commission have the discretion to exclude secret recordings from evidence if they determine the "desirability of admitting the evidence" is outweighed by the "undesirability" of how it was obtained. [1, 2, 3] Exceptions In "all-party consent" states, you may be able to record without consent if it is "reasonably necessary" for the protection of your lawful interests (e.g., documenting threats or harassment), but this is assessed strictly on a case-by-case basis by the courts.
