I think they are too busy in Court.

Berlzebub has posted that this tunnel could be done in a few weeks. Then done at a time when there are no Caulfield race meetings.

Sorry Picket, are you talking about Caulfield or Goschs or Waverley? if itโs Caulfield, the Trust will lease use of the ovals area to the MFC, for their use, with the ability potentially for other community use, when not needed by the MFC. The buildings area would be leased I would imagine, to the MFC, for its exclusive use for a very, very long term.

You mean walking the dog on an oval, being used in a training session by approximately 40 fit footballers, kicking footballs and running everywhere. Yes I see that happening often.

Also moving to Waverley would add extra costs and I am concerned the AFL could somehow use it to keep us there.

Kate Hore engaged to Corey Maynard
Whoops. Thanks now fixed.

I am sure most on here and the Club agree with you. That is not why we are looking at Caulfield.

Kate Hore engaged to Corey Maynard
I do. I assume he is Peter Maynardโs oldest son, the brother of Brayden.

Congratulations Kate and Corey on your engagement, Kate will be Braydenโs Sister in Law.

And of course we would become the best wet weather team in the AFL. Wettest area in Melbourne and one of the coldest. Players would absolutely love it.

What has MA Services Group got to do with Guerra? I would imagine Grillโd decided to bail before Guerra came on board.

In a facility that another club couldnโt wait to be rid of.

You can poach other train on players if they are happy to join your club.

Thatโs why we shouldnโt move there. Why move to facilities that werenโt good enough for another club, even temporarily? With Gosch's now in demand from Tennis and the Pies, we should keep the pressure on for Caulfield, by staying until it is ready to move to. What is the relevance of being closer to Casey, when players donโt go from Waverley to Casey, but rather from their homes to Casey? Donโt like the sounds of this. Am I missing something?

2026 Injury List
Agree, Viney wonโt retire. He will strive to play as long as possible and will believe if he misses this year, he will come back next year fresh and ready to go for a couple more seasons. If May retires and McAdam doesnโt get fit, we could have 3 spots and then again TC has a neck injury and at 34 may not want to risk further injury, who knows.

I donโt know, but I donโt think they are in full training now.

2026 Injury List
Tom Campbell Shane McAdam Salem AMW Tom Matthews CJ I believe the above also could be added to the list and there are probably more. That is horrendous in a Pre Season and now May not fully fit and with some issues could be another not available.

Bailey Humphrey
And of course the long term, high money contract, that would be needed to get him. Not disagreeing, just putting the cost out there.

Would everyone prefer Humphrey, or keeping the picks and maybe drafting another Langford and Lindsay?

That would be great. I could live with no announcement, if they quietly started construction.
