Trade Targets
Maybe I am getting senile, but I don’t see that as a bad deal. 2 first round picks and 2 players who will be best 23 Blues. Curnow 29 before next season, is 2 years older than McLean and 4 years older than Campbell. Curnow can be flaky and put in poor games as we have seen. He has had injuries too.

They are the sort of comments about Goody having no plan B, or not trying something to change a losing game, that I heard from all of my Dees mates.

I will give him one more year.

Disagree. I think we are looking at Derksen as a defender. However I also think Jeffo won’t get more than another year to prove himself.

Tairon Ah-Mu - No access for Dees NGA Talent
So how did that player with the Swedish mother and Australian father who has lived here his whole life qualify? Tairons’ father was born in Samoa and that is Oceania. I don’t think Oceania is included in NGA but may be next year, which could give us access to his brother.

He is obviously a fan of the TV show Happy Days. Ralph Malph was one of the characters on the show.

I feel somewhat ashamed to reveal this, but I have had matcha lattes in the last few days, as I heard matcha possesses several health benefits. I have not forsaken the banana, as it holds a scared place in my daily life, but I have broadened my horizons somewhat and will now wait to see if the mooted benefits of matcha are in fact true.

Judd McVee Contract
Don’t see any impediment to a deal if a signing was announced, as could still be traded and the fact we are looking at Max Heath, suggests we see it as likely not happening. But then again.

Trade Targets
I would be chasing Max Gruzewski from the Giants. Family here. Behind Cadman, Hogan, Brown and Riccardi. Contracted to 2026. Giants facing a list squeeze. Was happy to be drafted by us but we couldn’t get him.

Judd McVee Contract
It is a strange situation and I don’t doubt Ghosty or Danny at all and accept Judd has committed to us, I just can’t work out why we would hold the announcement this long. Look forward to the announcement ending this thread and all the angst.

Actually quite the opposite.

You are welcome.

Could they just tell DL, if we promise to keep it secret?

Steven May's Future
Well he is certainly injury prone now, so I agree.

They won’t call time on May. It will be trade or stay final year.

He played 16 this year and suspended for 3 though concussed for 1 of those, so not like he doesn’t play most games. But 34 before next season and won’t kill our chances if he leaves. Whatever he was a big part in our flag and that should never be forgotten.

Cam Bruce to Melbourne?
Sorry mate just saw your post after I repeated it. Great minds yeah.

Cam Bruce to Melbourne?
But we might have a senior Coach, who is already planning and implementing.

Max would be a good get for us, our first choice key forward, but it is very unlikely. They do have Cadman, Hogan, Brown and Riccardi. I think there might be another kid there as well. I hope he is on our radar and we at least try. He is contracted to 2026, so this would be the year to do a deal if possible. I know his dad and in his draft year he was excited about the possibility of us drafting Max. Unfortunately it didn’t happen.

Maybe Roos. Dogs probably still a chance. If Silvagni goes to the Dogs, even the Pies might have a nibble, with Howe now suspect and Moore needing help. If not he plays his last year with us.
-
Steven May's Future
Ralphy said last night Dogs will definitely not be after May. Should we therefore lock him in as joining the kennel?

Steven May's Future
We are talking one more year with us, or traded for something. Whatever!

Who’s Playing Their Last Game In The Red & Blue tonight?
True, but how many with reduced output and other issues, would be tolerated in a business, for also distracting younger employees, while the boss is speaking in a meeting, discussing the businesses’ current results.
