That is the post that spells it out succinctly. He or his Manager need to tell GC that he wants to go home and that if they don’t allow it, they will have an unhappy player, who can’t perform at his best, who will use FA at the first opportunity and swears that he will never extend his contract ever. If he says that to GC they have to consider his position seriously.

Flanders for 7 but not 12 for Oliver. Really?

That makes GWS pick 12 extremely likely to get the deal done. Maybe even Victorian Gruzewski added and we give a late pick back.

Fair enough but we probably need two extractors and Viney appears the only one left, so Steele could be handy and cheap for 2 years. I am confident 2 early picks could get us two kids to add to Kalani and Sinemma and who we get in Tracc deal.

Yes thanks. Bit of a watershed moment I feel for the Dees. Stars leaving, so we need to get the deals right or it will hurt for quite a while. I refuse to believe there is no talent in this draft. Maybe not deep but surely there are 20 decent players. An early pick or two would hopefully give us 2 more talented young players. So if we can trade in a couple of good players and obviously atm Humphrey and Walter seem the best possible we should use Tracc and Oliver deals to get them if we can convince them to come. I am stunned Suns are looking at JUH, unless they think Walter or King may leave. What do you think of Steele cheaply for 2 years? I have warmed to him, to partially replace the loss of Tracc and Clarry and imo, as he is a salary dump, we could get him thrown into the Heath deal and cost nearly nothing.

If I recall correctly, Saints sent Luke Ball to draft and Port sent someone whose name I forget, think he went to Carlton.

Pickett get a grip. They know he can play. There is a reason they are moving him on and it’s not money. You must know that. Our desires to keep Clarry are commendable, but we don’t live inside the bubble. This has been coming for a few years. We need to change or have the same result again and then suffer more pain.

And now they are the only club talking to JUH.

Is it a Scottish Swan with the same name as a tall Lion, who used to have a long drive to work?

One 4th place in a B & F compared to Tracc’s achievements is nothing.

It starts monday.

He is a Queenslander and we just took Mihocek. Would love him, but we need goal kicking mids more, but yes you would have to be interested. I think he would be harder to get out of the Suns BUT they are now talking to JUH. That would make Walter even angrier. Would you take Walter and clear JVR and Woey back home to Eagles for a high pick, they do have 1 and 2 and tell them we will let Judd go to them if Freo are too difficult.

Saints gave offered 7 for Flanders. Giants have 12. We will pay some of Clarry’s salary. We will absolutely get 12 for a player who is miles better than Flanders and will end up on a cheaper salary. 4 B & F, AA, Premiership player. What has Flanders done, nothing? 32 what an absolute joke.

Farewell Christian Petracca
Entirely logical. He comes out and says he wants to go home for family reasons and play for the Dees and we are in play.

Then we have a problem.

Farewell Christian Petracca
There has to be a handful of non NGA or F/S players that will be good players at a bare minimum. We will take one selection at the least. I would be shocked if 40-50 players aren’t selected in the ND.

Humphrey is not Tracc, not close to him.

You don’t want the 7 they get for Flanders that’s already apparently been offered. 6 and 7 sounds better if you can’t get Humphrey or another very good player as part of the deal. We have to remember that Tracc is the highest credentialed player mentioned in trades this year. This isn’t us throwing him out, it is him wanting to leave. With Ablett Jnr he will be their biggest player trade and they need to get it done Hopefully Humphrey says yes to us and we will get a good deal. Him and an early pick 6 or 7 gets us another good young draftee. We must get acceptable value.

I was in your camp, but if we have a spot to fill, I think he would be ok for a couple of years. Experienced big body clearance player, who would come cheap in trade and on a cheap contract. Probably thrown into the Heath trade. He is better than anyone we draft after first round or two and would be angry with a point to prove. He would be a great mentor and is a decent bloke. He is a clear salary dump by the Saints because of their new signings. Yes he could help us for a couple of years and he in some ways fills the holes left by Tracc and Clarry as a contested clearance player.

Welcome to Demonland: Brody Mihocek
Not that I wanted him, but now that he is a Dee, I am looking for the positives. One positive you didn’t mention, is his ACCIDENTAL clumsiness, that sees him falling on players, or bumping them in contests and ACCIDENTALLY hurting them. It is reminiscent of the CLUMSY Dustin Fletcher and for the older folk on here Michael Tuck. Arms, elbows and knees going everywhere.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Pickett stick with me and Dees and we will both enjoy the climb back to the top and then along with Ghosty, we can spray perfume on each other and I can watch you two scoff scotch, while I have a Kahlua enjoying our latest flag.

Welcome to Demonland: Max Heath
Don’t know what Cats can offer for Marshall and he is contracted, so Saints could just say no.

Media Madness
No, he means he supports Carlton and can’t call them pathetic, for fear of being banned. If he actually said we are a joke of a club, that is not reporting, that is his opinion. That opinion is pretty disgraceful and I would support the club also having an opinion that he is a joke of a journalist and therefore, as there is no respect for him, not allowing him any access to players and staff, thereby not subjecting them or the club, to a joke of a journalist, who could harm them or their workplace.
