Welcome to Demonland: Riley Onley
Yes, how could you have missed that? Yes, how could you have missed that?

Training Ground?
Sounds like Casey will be used for games primarily then, not training.

Welcome to Demonland: Riley Onley
My comments are that good they should always be repeated.

Hassa Mann
Have met him many times and he is a wonderful, modest, friendly true red and blue bloke.

Worst Ever Draft Decision (& Best)
Jack Watts was a better player than Toumpas without question and was acknowledged as the best or second best player of his ND year. Toumpas had his doubters from the beginning and many wanted Jack Vineyโs good mate Ollie Wines and were very upset when we chose Toumpas. But spilt milk now. There is no doubt that after an few obvious picks each year, the job gets much harder predicting who will be a good AFL player. I never saw Kozzie as he is now, but JT might have.

Worst Ever Draft Decision (& Best)
So true. I just predicted we would win the first test in two days, as well as predicting the winners of this yearโs Melbourne Cup and Cox Plate.

Training Ground?
Donโt tell me the Premiership cups are going in Fantasy land.

Training Ground?
We would be building east of that oval and I have no idea on the second question, but looking at that area currently I would guess no, as it doesnโt look big enough to support a VFL crowd, but who knows. I donโt know what the future proposal for Casey is either. Maybe others know something about this aspect of our future plans.

Welcome to Demonland: Riley Onley
Agree as I dislike the word. Had never heard it until a few years ago when it started to be used in the AFL.

Worst Ever Draft Decision (& Best)
Do you mean Max at 34 in the 2009 ND?

Worst Ever Draft Decision (& Best)
As JT's Mama always said.

Training Ground?
It is the only stand alone option of the three that have been mooted. The first to me always seemed impractical. The buildings can be totally fenced off from the rest of the area, excluding the ovals of course, with it's own separate access to the adjoining streets being Neerim Road and Queens Parade.

Training Ground?
That's what I thought, but I have been corrected. Its back at the 2nd option, which is FAR better than the original one, in size, access, shape and transport options. While the 3rd option is close to Caulfield station, maybe it was too close to the MRC facilities for their liking. The 2nd option, the South east Corner, is about the furthest from the grandstands and MRC facilities and maybe that is all for the better. It is also far from the school, not that they were concerned at all, as they are totally with us and supporting us and are excited by the MFC as a neighbour and that is from the horses mouth, pardon the pun. With the amount of overseas students at Monash Caulfield, living in the newly constructed plethora of apartments, the MRC membership and to a much lesser extent with the school, we also have the chance to grab some new supporters and members, with maybe a joint MFC/MRC membership being attractive to some.

Training Gallery - Friday, 21st November 2025
Well done 6. Great photos once again. You have captured the artistry of Kozzie, ducking, weaving and changing direction.

Training Ground?
South East Corner, closest to where the ovals will be built. That area is close to Glenhuntly station and if you walked from Caulfield station, through the Eastern/closest tunnel to the ovals, would be less than 5 minutes.

Training Ground?
That is my estimation, as if it is green lit say next month, it should all be finished in two years. I donโt know the actual planned buildings, but if the main one was 5 floors high, my estimation allows more time than needed. Anyway, first we need the announcement and I am unsure if it is being dictated by the State Government.

AFLW: PF vs North Melbourne
Also we had a lot of younger players with lighter bodies and they were brushed aside in the contest. A star player in Garner starred again, carrying her side to victory. Fantastic effort and just a real pity we didnโt beat the Lions. It would have been a great GF.

2025 MFC Financial Result
Big ask to get past a team that hasn't lost in 2 years. If we could somehow get a win today I think we would win the flag, but realistically it probably ends this afternoon.

Training Ground?
Maybe a couple of issues to still work through, but it is moving forward and from what I hear is happening. Not the best time to get State Government assistance of course, but the community aspect is helping. Unless something blows it up, I expect the Dees to be training there in 2028. As to the announcement, that is up to the club of course to pick the best time and and AGM seems pretty suitable with a new Coach, CEO and President.

Training Ground?
I expect a very positive announcement at the AGM. Got some info in the last 48 hours. Caulfield will happen for us.
