Ah the memories. I remember going to games when we thought we had a chance.

For God's sake get off Watt's back. He kicked two goals when moved forward with crap supply. He backed back to take a mark and did, early and got clobbered. He is the only bloke in the side, besides Davey, who can actually pass it to a team mate. We are incapable of passing the ball by foot or hand and this makes at least 5 years I have been banging on about it. When we turn it over the overlap is usually a goal. We also have no midfield. We zone and leave opposition players free and it is killing us.

RR I am on holidays using a computer on restricted use.I recall the press conference where Mifsud appeared and apologised to Neeld and the MFC, for calling Neeld a racist and nothing was offered by the AFL. Do you recall it in any different way than I do? I am sure you could find a link if you search back through Mifsud apology to MFC/Neeld. It was about mid year or slightly earlier last year. Don't hold your breath. When the AFL official Mifsud admitted he lied when he called our Coach a racist, he apologised when he was caught and that was it. There was nothing from the AFL top brass. Who knows what the damge was to our club and coach. Clearly the AFL couldn't give a rat's tossbag. The we get done $500k in a farce as the whole footy world agrees. Corporate Governance my arse.

Do we actually know if any MFC player took anything? As to JT my recollection is that the discussion was based around a cream, for his foot, not something ingested, does that make a difference?

Wow. That truly is a hard read. Imagine living it. All the very best to Rick, Jordan and the whole family.

What worries me is his attitude. Twice in the Bombers game he stood on the mark as a shot for goal was taken and he did absolutely nothing and I mean nothing, to put off the player kicking for goal. He did not even lift his arms and barely looked at the player. Later in the game when about 130 points up a Bombers defender was jumping all over the place trying to save a goal from our kick. That is attitude.

As long as it could be done so both teams have a proper break before and after the game so that their season is not compromised. I am talking about the future of course, as this season would not be compromised as it is already only about player development and a few wins at best.

In Healesville today and there is a great little cafe, that if memory serves me well, makes fantastic banana bread. Hopefully Mrs. Redleg will let me have a slice for lunch.

No I accept that it is entrenched on the AFL calendar, it is just the saturation coverage of these 2 clubs this week that annoys me. Yes it is Anzac day and a big crowd, but this is an 18 team competition and the winner still gets 4 points. I just think it is way over the top. However, I am sure their sponsors are delighted.

Heard Welch speak last week and I thought he was good in the huddle. Don't know about him during the week though.

Aren't they the same clubs who have been mentioned as being at the forefront of supplements, sport science and alternative therapies over the years. Who can forget the intravenous drip bandages of the Lions, or the boys to men bodies of the Coast and Crows in the 90's or the stuff that the Hawks were rumoured to be taking in their flag years. Now the Cats and Bombers and Pies have been mentioned in relation to players taking substances. Yes they all probably worked hard in the gym, but did they have help outside the Gym?

How bad do we think we are?
