I would have thought that a minor matter that also remains to be proven is whether JT actually took anything and if so what. So far the evidence available as far as I know, is an alleged SMS, referring to JT being asked to meet someone. Am I wrong here, or have I missed something?

We couldn't stop a final quarter run. Where have I heard that before?
-
Bombers will smash them as GWS tire.

Ah, another great sporting weekend for Redleg.
-
How do you suggest the club would exit MN professionally and respectfully? I would imagine sacking MN would see another avalanche of bad press from the media. We all know whatever we do is wrong, in the eyes of some.

Unfortunately I saw the same as you in my loungeroom, watching the tele. We were awful. If the Lions kicked better they would have won by 12 goals with 6 babies in the side. As with a few sides, they play crap footy until they play us and then we give them a one week revival. As for the good sides, well they just thump us. I understand our player deficiencies, I just don't understand our effort deficiencies.

He's gone, we have our compo players, I don't care less about him.
-
Agree.
-
Lets give him 1.3 years before we make the call.
-
They will know I am a Dees man, trust me.
-
Some minor good news, I am not in a carlton box, only reserved seats in AFL on level 2. Hope some Dees fans are around.
-
Seems that way. Every time I see him he is stuffed after one burst. Clearly has lots of talent but apparently no engine at all. Hope he can develop one.
-
It will help, if he is in fact the problem. That said, I don't know if he is.

I would happily watch her on sunday for a couple of hours rather than our football team.

If one stands back and looks at what is happening, then I fully understand this post and probably agree with it. I am all for giving a guy a fair go, but that would depend totally on whether he still has the support of the players. I fear he hasn't. I don't care what they say publicly, I just wish I knew what they say and think privately. The way we are playing you could mount a strong case to say he has lost them. I have supported the Coach until now but I am getting fearful of what might come next. You don't need talent to do the 1%'s, you need effort. We are not giving any. To me it looks like some players have had enough of the coach and they are just going through the motions. What would we give to see the effort of Puopolo chasing down 3 players in one sustained effort like he did last week. Won't happen with us. He is deperate and we are not. He is selfless and we are not. He would run through a brick wall for his coach and team mates, how many of our players would get close to that mindset. Lucky for me this won't be my decision, but I think our new CEO will have to act soon, or I fear we will be in tatters, with our our few good players wanting to leave. They are certainly playing like that. I would love to be proved wrong but I don't think it will happen. PS. Look at how the Port players are responding to Hinkley. Many of them were there under the previous Coach. What is different, the Coach.

This is going to be a tough sunday. Invited to sit in a Carlton box and will probably witness a 20 goal thrashing and BOG for Brock.
-
I think he has just sacked the tea lady.
-
It is pathetic that the MFC have killed off any interest in this season for most of us, within a couple of games.
-
Pity the bombers didn't listen to his song Return to Sender, may have saved them some heartache, if they sent the stuff back, rather than injecting it into unsuspecting footballers.

You know I don't want to be the bearer of more bad news, but Elvis died of a heart attack, due to his obese condition, contributed to by his constant eating of fried banana sandwiches. I hope your sandwich, or the banana wasn't fried.
-
Agree, but the problem is none of us knows the true position.
-
The way things are going, if I had every ticket in the raffle, I still wouldn't win.
-
Old and getting older very quickly supporting this club.
-
It will be hard to go when a 20 goal thrashing is on the cards.
