The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
It is now discretionary and we were refused PP's many times when we deserved them. They have more top 10 picks than any club on their list and many young players ready to blossom. We didn't have past deals where future picks traded are being affected. Our last pick 1 was just taken from us by a new franchise run by the AFL.

I will be staggered after his game today, if they don't change their mind and give him another year. It has to be Coniglio that is causing this. Clearing salary cap room.

Oliver Sprays Fritsch
Because we have no outside, nor forward structure, our inside is hurt badly.

If it goes through, we aren't discussing this. Second, he appears to say sorry to Jones. Third, he was stuffed at the time, as you can see and it was a one second decision. Lastly, who would you like him to have given it to, when he was 30 out, straight in front, with time to have a kick?

No I'm in the bubble with you. We are so bad atm, we are turning our anger onto one of our best young players. Hasn't had his best year, but gets his own, contested ball, more than any other player in the team and then, sometimes poorly, tries to give it off to receivers, to bring them into the game. Playing to a poor game plan, with no key forwards, no outside runners to give it to and we put sh-t on him. Wonder if he played with the Tigers, how he would go there, probably right up with Dusty.

It is interesting that a player can be accused of being selfish, because he wants to get the ball and does more than any other in our side yet this same player gives off the ball instead of trying to run the field with it. Which player is trying to bring more team mates into the game than Oliver?

Yes, so many questions and so many possible answers, to the reasons for our crap season.

Fritsch didn't select him in the side and a team mate is a team mate. I know you were being sarcastic.

Oliver Sprays Fritsch
You don't know that, unless you have actual inside knowledge of how he views his games. As for his often poor disposal, that may have something to do with a lack of presenting by others, a direction from his coaches to move it along at all costs and a few skill errors, where he wouldn't be Robinson Crusoe in this side.

POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Sydney
Correct. We put our worst and smallest team on the park for the year, so a loss was not a surprise. But there are a few other problems as well, that will need to be fixed though. Lack of effective game plan. Lack of pace. Lack of skill. Lack of small goal kicking forwards. Lack of effort. Lack of fitness. Lack of effective tackling. Lack of playing for the team.

How do we know GC won't take Anderson? Rowell is a smaller Gus.

IF it could be done, you would grab it. Say pick 2 and ANB and the Wagners, giving Anderson and experience to GCS and King and a lower first round pick to us. That would take care of our needed extra key forward and in years to come, second ruckman. You would have Tom Mac, Weid, King and Petty. You could then concentrate on pace and small forwards with the rest of your drafting/trading. Langdon if you could get him, would solve the running half back problem and you would be looking a better team.

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
If GCS traded their 2020 first round pick to us they would win the flag. MFCSS says hi.
