Casey Demons v Northern Blues - Round 14
Jordon is continuing to improve while Bedford is developing. Neita was well regarded by some senior players over pre season, I thought I heard somewhere and Sparrow will be better with another pre season. Lockhart, Hore, Petty and Baker are getting experience at senior level so there is new blood coming through. Dunkley today. A good injury run, easier draw and a few new players over summer will see us back playing decent footy and challenging for finals.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Often harder to get possessions in the VFL with less talented players giving you easy ones.

He is cute.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CHARLIE SPARGO
Think Charlie is suffering the 2nd year Blues, which is quite common in the AFL. Also playing in a down on confidence, undermanned side, this year.

Can we please get some small forwards
And the Pies play Howe where?

It's The Preseason Stupid
But we have had this year for most of the 21st century, barring last year and a couple under Neale.

Honesty
We won the week after the changes and lost the next week, to a side in the eight, at full strength and playing on their own dung heap.

CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Carlton
Talk about comedy gold, could there be anything funnier than Brayshaw's half dozen, backwards handballs over his head, all of which went straight to the opposition. Had the Lions fans rolling in the aisles.
-
Honesty
Garry was pretty honest on On the Couch, when he said, we were the worst disposing team in the AFL and why would the game plan stay the same when it is clearly not working. He had a go at the Coaching for not adapting to what was happening.

Come Whatever MAY
Yes Frost said he overreacted and it is all good.
-
Come Whatever MAY
Viney will stay Captain, but will have May, Tom and Max in the leadership group, giving us leaders in all areas of the ground.
-
Come Whatever MAY
He will prove to be a fantastic get. Rarely makes an error and can pass the ball accurately.
-
Come Whatever MAY
He wasn't fighting with Frost, he was telling him about a mistake. I noticed them walking together at 3/4 time talking and then Frost patted May on the back. When Frost made a nice spoil in the last quarter, May was the first to touch hands and acknowledge him. The guy is passionate about us and winning and obviously wants to succeed with us, as we will be his last chance of finals. He is a leader on the field and many on here have criticized Jones for not doing what he did. Don't worry about throwing stones that has nothing to do with what happened. While Frost may have been upset for a moment they were mates again soon and maybe Frost will win us a game, doing something that May has helped him with. Great teams and players do this all the time.

Salem free to play
And pick up the ball.

Midfield Issues.
And yet his second half was just full of fumbles.

It is made within a 26 mile radius of the CBD.

Unfortunately my favourite player is getting leather poisoning, but having absolutely no impact on the game. Someone needs to tell Oliver that he doesn’t need to always fire off handballs, or kick it 40 metres into the air. Less possessions, but giving the ball to a team mate with a pass or a handball to a team mate in the open will be far more effective. Thought Smith showed he is VFL standard and nothing more. A couple of possessions and he passes from 35 out and turns it over, just moronic. Hunt terrible. Tom Mac’s second half terrible. No pace or small forwards and terrible skill by most except Salem and May. Hannan’s Kick across the ground to a 2 on 1 was as moronic as Smith and with Tom’s dropped sitter started the avalanche. ANB good first half to give him his due. We desperately need to bring in crumbing forwards and skillful players over the summer, or next year might be a repetition of this one.
