I am sure Buckley will be worried at breakfast. Oliver plays or Billy does. He would have planned for both.

Using the word fl og gets you kicked out of AFL grounds as per saturday.
  5. Of course he is. Goes with the season. We have had a late out the last few games to go with our long list of injuries and always good players. Meanwhile other sides we play have close to their best side in and then the week later lose key players. This week Lynch out for the Crows and Hurn and Yeo for the Eagles.

I think our season is not proving we have a crap team, but rather with multiple injuries and poor kicking we struggle. We have nearly beaten the Crows and Eagles recently with half a team and when they were at full strength. In both games our goal kicking lost us the game. Therefore get most of the good players back and fix up the goal kicking and we are right in it again next season. A couple of more players getting blooded like Baker and Lockhart and with a few more into the club and we are really right in it. I feel better already. Banana smoothie here I come.

Hurn and Yeo their 2 best against us, out this week. How many times has that happened. It is part of the luck in footy.

Don't think Goody can put up with scared players and therefore I see Jeffy as an out this week and soon permanently. PS. Hate to say this, but the bananas don't taste so good when you are at the bottom of the ladder.

If you added the total IQ of all the people booing, it wouldn't equal the number of Gary's Brownlow votes over his career, or his games played, or probably even his goals kicked.
  11. Settle down.

The great John Nicholls was also 188cms and would be dwarfed by Cripps.

Our FF Barry Bourke was 179 cms or 5'10. Our FB Bernie Massey was 183 cms or 6'. Our ruckman Graham Wise was 188 cms or 6'2". How times have changed.

Yes you are correct, obviously my memory is failing.

You left out a better one, Don Williams. I thought Paul Prymke could have been a great if his back had of held up.

    Good on you Bert.
  20. Spoke to a marathon runner today, who is a Dees fan and he believes it is to do with fitness. We tire late in games and allow teams to run over us, without much pressure and the lack of fitness also affects our kicking for goal.

I am happy to kick it off with $250.00. Good luck Monica.
  22. Cameron is bigger than Smith.
  23. Ever heard of second season blues? Probably compounded by the poor form and heavy injury toll the club has had this season.

You may just be right on that one Ethan. What I struggle to come to grips with is, that basic decisions are not being given to certain teams and soft/technical ones are given to other teams. Using our game as an example, Weid was pushed right in the back 15 out and so was JKH by Jenkins, who handballed to Lynch late in the game, but no frees for blatant pushes, yet soft holds given to Crows for goals. Then the refusal to give blatant holding the ball decisions against the Crows, but again instant frees against us, like the Viney one. These decisions are so visible, obvious and blatant, that you are left to think that it is an agenda, or we are just the unluckiest team in sport. Several times the commentators call them, but you know their instructions are to just gloss over them, as we can’t criticise umpires and we all generally agree with that, but seriously is it just the rub of the green? We had one single infringement against us in our forward 50, in a 2 hour physical contest, according to the umpires. PS. I know it was us and our kicking that lost the game, but why do we not get what other teams do?
