Trac's Last Goal
Disagree. Cornes was speaking to a Saints supporter on the phone, who was at the game and sitting in the forward pocket, side on to the goal line and she said it was touched. Not only that, but when Cornes saw it on TV, he was sitting in his lounge room,, side on to the goal line, so he had a great view. Lastly the goal umpire was also too close to the ball and the goal line and was distracted by the girl speaking to Cornes, who yelled out it was touched. I think I have too much time on my hands, writing this rubbish, but it fits in well with some of the media comments on the issue.

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
This from whatwhatsaywhat above "Jeff White's son Kalani, 11, is another the club is keeping an eye on while he plays his footy for Surfers Paradise in Queensland. White also has twin sons named Kai and Tahj, still only seven years old".

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Sydney
Agree, freshen Max up for Freo. Why is no one mentioning Bennell? He is fesh and can snag a couple from a few possies and is a good scoring assist player. We were desperate to get him right and now he doesn't even seem to be in the equation. Personally I think we need to make a few changes and bring in several fresh players, who will be able to run the game out. Then again what do I know, I thought we would be too slow against the Saints.

The Need for Outside Midfielders
I agree you don’t just play guys because they have pace, but IMO we needed to add pace to a very pedestrian side, not made any quicker by adding Jones, Brown, Oscar and Wagner , though at least Rivers is not slow. While Bedford might not win the Stawell Gift, he is quicker than all of our ins this week. The real surprise to me is Hunt. He is quicker than Spargo, Hannan, Melk and VDB, is a good mark and a long, reasonably accurate kick, but can’t get a game ahead of a guy who is 15 cms smaller than him and much slower. He is really on the outer.

The Need for Outside Midfielders
Don’t pick one player as an example, who was brought into the club, is playing well and was in from the first game. I am talking about players like Hunt, Bedford, Bennell and Baker who have pace but are not being considered. I also said he dislikes, not hates, certain players and they have pace. I never said he hated EVERY player with pace. Don’t misquote when you respond to try and make a poster look stupid. I think most DL’s would agree we have gone slow this week, when playing a quick side. If the Saints rebound without pressure, like the Dogs did last week, we will have problems. Anyway it is the Coach’s choice and if we win, he gets the credit.

NON MFC: Round 14
Well we only lost to them by 2 points.

The Need for Outside Midfielders
More to the point Goodwin dislikes certain players and they happen to be the ones with pace.

TEAMS: Rd 14 vs St. Kilda
Playing a fast side who have added Hunter Clark, we have gone slower. Hunt and Bedford must be on the nose.

CHANGES: Rd 14 vs St Kilda

Neil Balme potentially leaving Richmond
Balme would never ever want Footy Operations job. Too much work.

MFCs greatest need.
A Premiership.

Jared Polec
Not saying that we would want him, but he is a mile better than Spargo and also far more expensive..

Nibbler Suspended for 4 Weeks
So let's get all of this sh-t in order and that is what it is, sh-t. Langdon gets a free for his tackle, most media say it is a fair tackle and he is fined with his appeal dismissed. Dahlhaus does exactly the same tackle as ANB and gets a week and then has his appeal upheld ending with a fine like Langdon. ANB is penalised a quarter of the current 17 game season, for the same tackle as Dahlhaus, with the only difference being that ANB's opponent got a concussion. So I suppose the rule now is, no suspension for a sling tackle, unless the victim is concussed and the penalty is then a quarter of the season. The exception to the rule will be where the player charged is a star player, from a big club and then the rules won't apply. The exception to the exception, will be that it can vary without any reasonable explanation, if the AFL wants it to, for any commercial, legal, whim or other reason that the AFL may decide on at that time, or at any time, past, present or future and that decision may be made by any past, present, future CEO of the AFL including any not yet conceived let alone born. Lastly, the exception will not deal with the Trengove 4 week penalty for the same offence, nor will it ever be discussed publicly or privately.

Nibbler Suspended for 4 Weeks
That sums it up pretty well.

No one is justifying drunk driving, you are simply not understanding what different offences are and have glibly said that the people who were trying to explain it to you are justifying drunk driving. As they say you can lead a horse to water.
