POSTMATCH: Rd 19 vs St. Kilda
His disposal was like all his team mates last night, terrible. Even Salem was poor. However he is coming off a second acl and I think we just want him to get through the games this year to get some confidence in his knee and then to get back to his best next year. I think he continues to play the sweeper role this year, not the body on body role.

POSTMATCH: Rd 19 vs St. Kilda
Agree on all except Oscar, who was terrible last night. Went back and looked at some of the games last year and he was ok. Is he just having a poor season or is he not up to it, I am unsure. I would like to see him tried up forward, to see if he can do anything there. I still think he needs another 5-8 kgs of muscle and that would be a priority if I was in charge. I think extra muscle would boost his confidence and give him every chance to make it.If that didn’t help and last night became his norm, well then he would be gone. I am now worried about Baker and Billy, who I like, but has too many injuries and when playing doesn’t get the ball enough. Anyway we have some interesting decisions to make soon.

POSTMATCH: Rd 19 vs St. Kilda
Maybe one positive, Noah Anderson. Also we now hold the AFL record for scores off turnovers, to the opposition. With 5 minutes to go we had conceded 84 points of their 103 from turnovers. That is simply disgusting.

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs St Kilda
If you polled DL as to who is our best kick I am confident most would pick Salem. You wouldn’t, that’s fine. BTW who do you think is a better kick than Salem?

I am waiting for the 6 day break with travel to kick in. Maybe it has already.

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs St Kilda
Rubbish. Probably 2nd in our B & F atm. Our most reliable kick is having a mare.

Salem can’t hit a target. Our disease has finally got him.

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs St Kilda
It is purely the disposal. We get it and turn it over. We are the worst skilled side in the AFL by a mile.

CASEY: Rd 17 vs Sandringham
Not sure why he hasn’t been given a chance in the midfield. Changing the dynamic of the midfield can be a handy tactic if used correctly.

Injury List - Season 2019
What is also strange or funny, is the different descriptions given to injuries likely duration. With only 5 games to go, some are stated as season, others indefinite and others TBC, when in reality they are all out for the rest of the season. If Sparrow for example is out for 2-3 and Casey have 4 games left we can be sure he won’t be brought back for the last game. Walker is indefinite so why not say season. Not sure why they categorise players injuries in this way.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
I am not sure that is a priority any more. Admin and training facilities, including whiz bang gym, pool, medical and recovery facilities in the same building or area is the aim.

Interesting that this and new fitness manager appointment hitting the news, at the same time as it is being suggested that we are leading the race for a player.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
I wonder if this was the real target all along and the impossible dream was put up, knowing it was doomed to failure, but thereby giving us more support from those that matter, for what we really wanted and which was far more acceptable and achievable.
