Did you notice Bruce gushing over the Swans and actually barracking for them?
-
In 268 games he has 134 goals, exactly 1 goal every 2 games played and mainly as a mid. You would think if he is fit, he would improve that playing small forward for a year or so.

Agree. On Oscar's first 4 weeks Petty will be no worse. I would keep Billy in as he needs a few games strung together, not being dropped after one, when he contributed and added some pace. Pretty sure he didn't turn it over last night.

is he still using IOU's as currency.

Gee Heeney beat him in a contest, he must be the first person Heeney has ever beaten in a contest. Ask Oscar what he was doing when Heeney took that mark over him, without Oscar even trying to spoil.

It is a simple comment. Acknowledge someone's good game, no need to bag them after a good game, especially when the player is a great of the club.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Redleg replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
Glad you thought so. -
You gave him no credit for a very good game and just bagged him. It was a mean post as I said.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MARTY HORE
Redleg replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Agree he was ordinary against Box Hill and played a nice game tonight. Hopefully he can keep improving and put on a few more k's of muscle and we might have found another player. -
Pretty mean post.

I’ve heard Eve was rotten to the core.
-
Weid should be good in the Sydney grass.

Another injury. KK out. Zip and 3. Things going splendidly.
-
Agree ( so far ).
-
But luckily Eve was at full forward.

I am a fan of Oscar Mc but what he did on friday night was just plain dumb. Having now watched the entire game back on TV, since I was at the game and obviously miss things there, I was absolutely stunned at Oscar on several occasions leaving his man and running to no mans land in between 2 Bombers and forcing Frost to try and run back to cover for him, thereby leaving his man. No wonder they had loose men and got uncontested marks in the forward 50, it was just ridiculous. Then, when 2 backs jumped for the ball and Devon Smith is lurking behind the pack, near the Bombers goal, what does Josh Wagner do, he mans up on Smith, NO, he goes 3rd man up, leaving Smith to goal from the crumb. Wagner did this several times too. Either our Coaches are dumb, or our players are or they all are. Manning up in those situations would have saved several goals and probably have seen us winning, despite the umpiring. Seriously, this is under 8 's stuff. How the hell is it allowed to happen. Lastly, Jetta, has lost all pace, Hibberd and Jones have lost their kicking disposal, our key forwards lead to the wrong spots, our small forwards are slow, can't kick goals and are not applying enough pressure to keep the ball in our forward 50 and our mids don't help defensively. Viney has no confidence from 30 out and passes to players in worse positions. Max has no help. Fix all that and we can make the finals and still have a good year.

Would he get a game ahead of ANB though?

May has been treated harsher than any player so far this year for the incident he was in. Braced like Cox, but didn't run across off his line to block the player like Cox did.. No concussion or injury suffered, despite what Christian said, which was later corrected at the Tribunal. New grading brought in at the Tribunal that "it could have been worse", but not applied to Dusty or anyone else. Was not off the ball like Dusty but in play. Was a block, not an elbow to the side of the head, which has always been considered a low act. Yes once again we cop the worst of it. Note that Gerard Whateley and other commentators have said the umpiring at our game was very poor and guess who copped the worst of it? Yes we seem to do very well with the AFL.

Have the drink. Unlike the footy club, it won't let you down.
-
Given the recent incidents and lack of penalties for them, May and us got truly shafted, again.
-
Funny thing is we are discussing a sh-thouse side that couldn't win, yet was blamed for deliberately trying not to, when in reality it couldn't anyway. Cheating to win games, is really so much worse than not trying to win, when you probably can't anyway. Anyway it is history.

Spoke to Hannan friday and he said should be back in 4-5.

Don't like picking on the kid, but I blame Goodwin for it. By continuing to select him when he is completely out of form, he is making him the target of ridicule among the supporters. Send him back to Casey and play him in the middle to find form.
