Fitzy hyperextends his knee.

Can I have the link too please?cheers
-
ix-nayed? Thats about all I know about the coaching position.

Im lead to believe Daisy Thomas has been made an offer by Carlton. If Collingwood dont match it, Daisy will go to the Blues is the whisper. MM doesnt get along with Chris Yarran it seems. Yarran is an exceptionally talented player that most coaches would want to have on-board.
-
i know the family and they all say how happy he is in Adelaide. But his partner is from the dandenongs too and so are most of his mates. he stays in touch, comes back for all the 21sts etc. Up to last Christmas Rory was very happy with new house, dogs, partner moved in and AFC. My sisters who go to the footy with his parents havent told me differently. If Ruscutto really said he would trade him for picks/players it is a bit baffling. It wouldnt be Rorys idea, I believe. I was discussing it with my Osteo who is the melbourne side trainer for the crows and he says Rory is very close to Neil Craig and Crows are going to be very active in the trade period. But we both said yeah nuh. Who knows? My wish is that he would come to MFC, but my head says no.
-
Sorry I meant Yarran may be up for trade. I hear more about Carlton than MFC
-
I would trade Fitzpatrick for Yarran. My mail is that he will be offered for trade. Many are canning the OPs idea without saying what they would do. We need mid fielders. We have KPFs.
-
Ok Bob you've convinced me that my assessment that Jordie wins possession then dives and dispossesses at random was the coaches fault. That's a lot of ssss. If you know what I mean.
-
My informant who works at Quicksilver (under Greg) says: He is a much better big wave surfer than Sugar, who isnt bad. They are both Melbourne men thick and thin. He lost me there but hope he is right. Kinda like Snape.
-
My mail was it was a close call and turned down after much deliberation.
-
Howe would give use the opportunity of picking up an A grade mid. We don't have much else to trade and its possible we won't develop him much more. A good 22 + year old mid fielder may put wins on the board. That brings fans back.
-
I dont want him to go but you have to give something other clubs really like. He is over the odds for a good trade, but then, i thought that about Brock!
-
Howe is pumped up by media and supporters and his lack of defense has been ignored. I wonder if he is a bad example to other young players. I love his speccies but he is a one trick pony for some-one who is supposed to be very fit.
-
Maybe he has asked if a couple of handshake agreements may be able to loosen up if he comes on board.
-
Thought some one in the know said it was the same as Matty Richardsons' and he would be back in Round 5? He sounded very sure of his information.
-
Lots showed up in the MCC after half time. All good. But I was surprised he made such a big deal about leaving the rugby to come.
-
Maybe he didnt show up until the 3rd Quarter when R Howcroft noisily arrived from the Rugby.

Is this discussed anywhere? Not discounting your opinion but wondering if I had missed something. Thanks.
-
Are other clubs subjected to as many long term injured as the demons? Its not a rhetorical question. I really wonder if we have a history giving players longer to return to the track.
-
For all intents and purposes please note: Mark "Bomber" Thompson (Ess assistant) Ken Bomba Shelton.(st kilda ex-coach) From Bomba the Jungle Boy. Ken looked like Bomba as a kid. No biggie but it keeps coming up.

Interesting comparison with Grant Thomas. He was instrumental in sacking Wayne Schimmalbusch at north Melbourne mid season, when he was chairman of selectors. Went to St Kilda where he was assistant coach. Blight got sacked mid-season. Thomas became coach. Just sayin... But at no time was Thomas thought of as a mentor. Just the survivor. Craig on the other hand.... I dont think there is much to it, but the facts are he was there to mentor Mark Neeld.
-
Neeld was asked if he accepted the job even though he had been offered the Adelaide role. Very interesting. At that point I think his interviewers were trying to trap him into saying Adelaide was his, to turn down. Because thats what really Pizzes Gaz off so much. Whether it was to CS or GL on a fateful September morning, Mark had said (my sources told me at the time) you had better confirm me as coach this morning as I would prefer to stay in Melbourne but I will accept Adelaides offer this afternoon. Of course he wasnt even on the short list. But he was believed. Why wouldnt you? There is vision of him at Finals training with the pies on the phone. MM is very close at hand. This in conjunction with believing Ross Lyons manager that RL was not available, has probably left Gary Lyon's faith in fellow man at an all time low.

Its another riddle. We dont really need another assistant coach to teach us how to tackle. Thats Juniors forte. When you look at the calibre of other clubs assistants, Ratten, Eade, Chocko etc. Like some of my mates, the longer he's out of the game the better he was. In DL' posters memories anyway.
