Jack Trengove re-injures his navicular (2014) - trade deal off
demoniac replied to Wiseblood's topic in Melbourne Demons
Trengove signed a new contract in the week following the horrors of 186. That is the sort of loyalty you don't forget. There would need to be a very big fish involved to trade Trenners and Pick 23 for Pick 12 which is Richmond getting him for an 11 pick downgrade. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JEFF GARLETT
demoniac replied to Demon3's topic in Melbourne Demons
Key Forwards: Hogan, Dawes Ruck/Forward: Gawn, Fitzpatrick Medium Forwards: Kent, Salem, Howe, Watts Small Forwards: Kennedy-Harris, Gartlett Don't think its miles off a Top 8 Forwardline with another pre season for the younger players. Importantly all the Mediums and Smalls can take a mark and most of the players are goalkickers, important to spread the load a la Hawks. -

McKenzie should be but Bail's ability to run long and hard at a good pace is a talent Roos' values as exemplified by his contract extension. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JEFF GARLETT

Obviously was unsettled off field in 2014. He obviously has elite level talent. Hopefully he has his life outside of football sorted and puts in a hard pre season and fulfills his talent in 2015 and beyond. That would be a massive win for the Mighty Dees. -

James Who? See Gerard Who? -
..or players are human just like you and me, with human feelings and emotions. I'd guess Dunny has more of an insight into Clark's circumstances than you or I...

Trade Radio has to be a Hutchy production. To be fair you have to give some credit to the presenters for waffling incessantly about not much of substance!

Swans by 120 points. Buddy wins Norm Smith.

Hogan will break the banner!

I am a 44 year old Melbourne fan. I have 1 brother. He is a 55 year old Hawthorn fan. We grew up in Camberwell deep in Hawthorn territory. I went to the 1988 Grand Final with my brother. Anyone but bloody Hawthorn. I am hoping the Hawks are 5 points up deep in the last quarter. Buddy takes a mark 70 metres out. The siren goes. Buddy runs out wide on his natural arc. The umpire fails to call play on. Buddy dobs it. I do love my brother!

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

There must be good Essendon people congressing to overthrow to oust Little and get the numbers on the board and sack Hird and Reid. -
From memory he debuted at 17 and thus had to take the field sans Tooheys logo.

Mitch is an elite talent and as such other clubs will inevitably be interested in securing his services. It is in our interest that there are multiple clubs interested and that Mitch factors in the compensation MFC will receive when choosing his preferred club. I hold no beef with Mitch. In many ways the more we understand about mental health issues the less we understand.

Presume the Lions were planning for Beams to extend his Pies contract by a year so it expired at end of 2016 which would coincide with him becoming a restricted free agency. Interesting to see what Lions offer. Pick 4 is the obvious starter but if I were them I'd hold the line and offer only a player outside of their core players. How much will they want to pay for a player who could come to them for nix in 2 seasons as a restricted free agent or for below market value in 1 season as an out of contract player.

Watched him in a few VFL games. His kicking is decidely unHawthorn-like.

Shurely Yze Magic deserves a mention amongst the hallowed named mooted above.

My paternal Grandfather was born and bred in Gawler, South Australia. Not particularly sporty but such a decent man that he did a runner from Broken Hill in 1913 because his landlady was making inappropriate advances. He finally met his match in Cooktown during WW1 in the form of my Irish Catholic (daughter of Hoteliers and Teamsters) Grandmother. Can't say his English Protestant(Congregationalist) Freemason Father was impressed by his choice and by his conversion to the Church of Rome.

I have an inkling that Goodwin wants to build relationships.

For mine Sylvia's main problem is footy smarts. He does not have them.

The challenge for Blease is to improve his endurance, Presumably Misson and Co don't believe he can.

What position does O'Rourke's cousin play? -
Yawnfest!

As per tradition shurely the CEOs will seal the deal with a handshake and Bleasey will head off to Carlton for their first rounder.
-
Blease's problem is endurance. In the modern game pace is useless unless you also have the endurance to run hard from first bounce to final siren of every quarter.

Walker has always come across in interviews as diehard crow, barracked for them as a kid. Unlikely for mine.
