Just on Parker being picked at 40, he was bottom age in 2009 at Dandenong Stingrays the year when Scully was drafted. Nearly everybody had Scully as the number 1 pick. Parker was taken the following year after 39 names were called out and yet today, who would take Scully ahead of Parker? Which proves that drafting is not an exact science and the people who screech on and on about one selection or another have nothing better to do with their time.

I don't see our challenge to win today as being much different to Richmond's against the Swans. The opposition really have nothing to play for. The result won't change where they finish on the ladder. There will be an element of self- preservation involved among some of the players who won't want to get injured and miss finals games . The answer is to hit them hard, tackle them, pressure them and let them know that they're in for a tight physical contest. This might be a departure from the way they've been playing lately but it's the last game of the season and they need to make a statement for their fans and for themselves.

No offence intended Mr. Frank. I was just responding to the fact that you said you were feeling cornered into supporting the players but really didn't want to. When you think of them as being like the East Germans and Chinese many of who were also unwitting subjects of chemical experiments I thought you might not feel so cornered.

How did you feel about the East German athletes when they were burning down the tracks fuelled by their state run chemistry labs or the 15 year old Chinese swimmers and their baritone voices.

Deliberate misinformation, I would suggest. The pro Essendon camp is so determined to knock this on the head without a proper hearing of the facts that they will stoop to just about anything to muddy the waters and deflect from the fact that a massive programme of injecting supposedly unknown substances in the bodies of these players was carried out in 2012. Second year in a row, our game against Carlton at the G which is usually a high grossing fixture is a Carlton home game and there's no return game at the G as our home game. All we're given is the weak as p1zz games in terms of people attending like WCE or GCS next week. What irks me is that we're the team of the red and the blue and the jumper they make us wear at this ground of ours makes us look like the Sydney Swans.
