I know of a player in a suburban competition who had surgery on his Achilles late last year and was told he could be out of sport for 12 months so being over 30 years old, he decided to retire. Charlie’s surgery happened in July last year. If he was also looking at a 12 month return date, would that be sufficient for him to be put on the LTI?
